Replacing Temperature Control on 1 Handle Delta Shower Faucet

This quick video is to show you how easy it is to replace the temperature control on a 1 Handle Delta Shower faucet. My Delta faucet has the word monitor on it. I had no other information since this is the faucet that was already here in the house. The best part is that Delta has such a great customer service department with just an explanation and a couple of pictures in an email to the company I was sent the replacement part for free. That does happen too often. Good luck with your problem and I hope this helps.

They have great customer service. They sent me a whole new toilet lever assembly because a part broke off inside the tank.

They do! And we always seem to forget to reach out to the manufacturer.

Thanks, very helpful. I couldn’t figure out how to get the cover off. Seems like all the Delta controls have set screws.

Yes and not the best made plastic piece. Waiting for this new one to break someday.

We are in a similar boat- bought a house with T17288 shower only faucet. The Temperature Handle is not moving- stuck on cold. Any thoughts? Thank you- and thanks for the tip on contacting Delta directly. Keurig has similar customer service. A part on Amazon over 25.00 was sent to me free. Good service.

Sorry for the delay. Not sure. Again the best thing to do is call delta. Hope you solved your problem.
