I adore the note of tomato leaf 🤩 It reminds me of my childhood - sunny days and stealing cherry tomatoes from Grandpa’s garden 😋 It is such a distinctive note. Stella McCartney Pop uses it with a strong 90’s tuberose. Just so cool

I blind buyd this one today and I absolutely LOVE it from the beggining till the dry down ❤and last on me so long and project as an Edp beautiful uniq scent it does send me back my childhood been around my gremma help her pick up the 🍅 in the garden and enjoy the sun and the smell of the leaves from the 🍅 and last and last on me so long i wished since so long a green parfume ❤absolutly uniq scent.

A great release from Margiela I bought a bottle of it too as you know… your description was spot on. I can’t wait to wear it more in spring!

I love it! II read the notes and was initially turned off by it but I had that same inkling to just spray it on myself and see what happens . The complexity in the dry down really sold me even though I wish it lasted longer

The fragrance from Hermès un jardin sur le nil has also a tomato 🍅 leaf note in it and it's so unique and fresh. I love it!

If one likes the perfume or not, Maison Margiela is amazing to create perfums with authentical notes, that can give you a reminiscence of what they mention in the name. I love the Replica-Line. I like even their special synthetic vibe.

I just bought a full bottle after going through the travel size in like a month. I've been looking for the perfect green scent, one that smells EXACTLY like my hands after weeding the garden, but wearable. This is it. Every box is checked. I wanted the juice or the bottle to be green (that's important to me for some reason), I wanted it to actually last on skin, and I wanted it to be a very realistic green smell. The tomato leaf is gorgeous in this. It's crisp, but not cold. There's a solar quality in there, it's like sunwarmed earth. I do get the rose in here too! I really loved ELDO You Or Someone Like You and this reminds me of a warmer, sunnier, earthier version. I have friends who are very picky about scents and hate anything that smells too artificial or sweet, but they love this. I would really like to find something a little darker, even dirtier, mossier to go with this. This is light green through and through, now I need to find my dark green. Also, the description says Puglia 1998, and I'm a spring 1998 baby, so y'know.

I need to revisit this one. I smelled the tester at Sephora the other day and I wasn't wowed but I had been smelling so many that I probably didn't give it a fair chance. It sounds so nice from your description so I'll go back and try it out.

I really liked the beginning, but the drydown was not working for me..seemed a bit generic and something was bothering. I might need to try it again when it warms up

I'm really not drawn to tomato leaf or fragrances with herbs. Maybe I need to have more of an open mind, and not just dismiss them out of hand based on the notes. 😮

I really did NOT like this. I do like Green Spell by Eris and L'ombre Dans L'eau by Diptyque. In my opinion these are much better and more refined than the "In the Garden". I regretted even spraying it at Sephora as it was so dirty smelling and so strong. I am surprised it is EDT because it has performance of an extract. I was hoping the dry down would be better as I was running errands and couldn't get it off my skin. The dry down was no better. I give it two thumbs down.

It smells like fleshy overripe red tomatoes. It has this overbearing decomposing sweetness. Pretty off-putting to my nose. I would prefer a fresher crisp tomato scent. Such was What About Adam from Joop! Or Aedes de Venustas. Or Comme Des Garcons had some veggie-centered creattion. But this is very cruedly made. Margiela is so avant garde and thoughtful in its couture and fashion lines but its Replica line is just disastrous.
