But even when I'm FOR him staying, It's not a hill I'm gonna die on, if they get someone new, then I'm OK with that too But I will say this, the ONLY reasons people spout for keeping the guy is because we change managers too much. 3 cup finals in two seasons, one trophy, getting champions league for one season isn't much reason to keep him right? Yes his made mistakes whether it be tactically, subs or man management, but give the project some time. Think about the current teams of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City most are signings of the so called successful managers/academy, in order to play the managers style the manager needs his own two squads to rotate, that's 22 players. Only recently we can see a playing style for Arsenal and Artetas been there for 5+ seasons. ETH didnt have a consistent back 4, that makes a huge difference, he had numerous injuries plus immature players like Sancho, Rashford, Greenwood and Antony to deal of which 3 were not his signing and I reckon most of the signings were not even his first choice. Im done hearing ETH out, he is definitely the man to take us forward, given time and patience. Let it take another two seasons to compete. Regardless of who replaces him, it's gonna take them another 4 seasons anyway, why add to the burden of the fans. Let him cook and judge accordingly from next season when he has his first team.
