I am Zambian, and never even thought of Malawi as a country different from Zambia. Same food, culture, names, language etc. Being from Chipata, my grandma lived between Zambia and Malawi, and half of her family lived on the Malawian she de, and half on the Zambian side, and crossed back and forth anytime they willed.
