Why do they keep going on Wallace’s show? They know they’re gonna be pressed on the issues. If they won’t or can’t answer them, they should just stay at Newsmax.

Nicholas Gallanis actually the bigger problem is voters forgetting we have Local and State Governments to deal with local and State issues like poverty, hunger, homelessness Infrastructure, education, ect. The State and Local Governments will love to pass the buck along when the voters don't hold them responsible. Sure, Governors love to ask Washington for money to deal with a State problem. What happens over time is the Federal Government eats up that control to the point States lost their Sovereignty. That is why the Federal Government is too big

Wouldn't it be better to put the poor in a situation to help them better themselves instead of throwing money to them for all eternity? We had 8 years of a Democrat President 2008 thru 2016. What happen to his plan for the poor? The Democrats controlled Congress 2008 thru 2009 . They had a filibuster proof majority. :-) Have a "Take a teacher home to talk to Dad" day. Let a teacher tell him about the experience of trying to teach during COVID. Lockdown, hybrid, lockdown, hybrid, masked and distanced in person, 1/2 the students one day, 1/2 the next, technology glitches, having to make videos of chemistry experiments, no vaccines for teachers (For a long time, our school district which has hundreds of teachers had only received 25 vaccines. 25!! Vaccines for students 16 and up who wanted them were available on Apr. 30.), having to read and respond to between 100 and 175 emailed questions from students per day, teaching when the readable board space is the size of a computer screen, greater numbers of unmotivated students not turning in assignments, students choosing to go shopping rather than tune into online class, getting students to take tests in a timely fashion, dealing with student depression because of cancelled athletic seasons, not seeing their friends, no prom, only an online graduation ceremony. Teachers and students are mostly back at it and thankful to be. Trump spent months denying the danger and reality of COVID. Hundreds of thousands died while he prevaricated. 2020 was crushingly difficult for teachers. Many retired earlier than planned because districts insisted they return to their classrooms before they could be vaccinated. In many cases, those teachers or someone in their homes had health issues making them especially vulnerable. Teachers aren't destroying the country. COVID and Republican carelessness and lies nearly did.
