Two points for those who do not use a LEGAL dictionary when making LEGAL arguments. Lobby means to TALK, it has NOTHING to do with MONEY per se. If I talk to my congressman and ask him or her to support or oppose a bill, I just LOBBIED the congressman. It is the MONEY, the private donations that corrupt the system. A first term idiot is just as easy to bribe with money as a 50 year veteran of the legislature. Term limits were purposed by the SYSTEM to keep us ENSLAVED by stupidity. SMH

You have to pass a test to get a licence to drive. In most states, you have to buy a licence to go hunting. You have to get a licence to become a real estate agent. You cannot practice law without passing the state bar exam. But in a lot of states, ANY 18 year old can just buy a semi-automatic assault rifle without any need to get training, pass an exam, or prove they are mentally and physically fit.... By the way, if you are a member of the US armed forces, every access to weapons is subject to training, checks, and supervision..... As opposed to America's civilian population, where none of those common sense measures apply....

And it's the same argument I see "you can't take on the government". I don't think people realize it won't be a revolution but a civil war with multiple governments forming like a communist government, fascist government, a liberal one, probably an Anarchist group etc. If there is any form of the original government left during a civil war, it would most likely be a right-wing military Junta or dictatorship that claims to be the true government. Basically, it will be like the Syrian civil war with several factions fighting each other for years with millions of dead.

" Bring back the pandemic traffic solved" finally someone said it. This is exactly what I have thought when it all started. signs of oil increasing have been an issue since the last time. Suddenly we had a war with Iraq, and it is blamed on that. Oil crisis has been shadowing our, existence since the price was liquid. The possibility of solar and steam vehicles have never been a priority in researching. 70 percent of the earth is water, and 50 to 80 percent can be solar powered. Lets take things into our own hands and develop our own transportation. Make new roads for such trans.

What are you talking about? What pandemic solved traffic problems? Covid only killed some 7 million people worldwide, that doesn't put a dent in the population of 7700 million. Still 7693 million left. In the Netherlands gas prices are around $11 per gallon, doesn't stop ppl from driving, many have hybrid cars. New roads? Why? Do you even have the slighest clue to how expensive new roads would be? Not to mention the enviromental impact. Here's a solution, get bicycles. We Dutch have more bicycles than people living in the country. We still have plenty of traffic jams though. The problem is people... a pandemic that kills over 1 billion would indeed solve the traffic problems.

@@lookdawg187 Pandemic was created in a lab. Yes, people have died. The government only cares about money. That's why, they created an epidemic. That would eliminate people who were weak disabled older and more than likely probably on some type of Assistance or social Security. The Wuhan lab was funded by an American company. I'm not suggesting that it was not real and people did not die. What I am saying is that the government has put money before human lives. Human lives that have worked and struggled, their whole life to pay into that same system. That will not protect them. Basically, when they stop feeding into the system they're ready to get rid of them. Then go to an Iraq war. What do you think it was about? While the government was funneling all of the fuel and oil from those countries during those wars. Billions of gallons per day. To feed into the hog of America. That waste everything in its existence. While shipping all of their trash to China. So China can use and recycle it, to remake cheap products that make more trash. Likely you have some, in your own home. Made by some kid or some human traffic soul. Yes, bicycles are great. And still you have to remember average American is over 30 pounds overweight. Last thing they want to do is write a bicycle. Or wait that's why they have to have planes trains and automobiles. Eventually it's all going to crash.

It has to do with the government creating the germ warfare that will eliminate the weak who don't pay into the system. When I quoted what he said "bring back the pandemic" I didn't mean bring it back. What I was referring to is the fact that the pandemic cause people to stay home and keep the fuel prices from rising. But you have to think deeper than that, to understand that our natural resources we eventually run out. Unless everyone stayed home grew their own food raise their own farm animals if they wanted to. @@kb_100 you have to realise one tiny thing: Senate is to counterbalance legislation made by the majority (most populous states in the House) if not the states with least population would not have any incentives to remain in the union. On the other hand, the idea of 2 votes per state IS for the holders to vote AS individuals, NOT as a block as it happens now. The only way I can think of to reform it is to elect 1 of each party, whomsoever we elect which will perhaps vote in favour of some legislation introduced by dems or republicans, and add a provision forbidding the leader of each party to engage in practices like ostracizing members for voting in favour of legislation brought by the opposite party, only then it could work but needs to put in practice to evaluate the outcome.

I wish our gas was that cheap - those of us that live in California. I paid $6.19 at one of our “low-price” gas stations today.

Gas price in the US is so high now, Americans pay nearly as much as I (Germany) before the crisis. But for real, due to the American dependency on cars, the people there were hit very hard. Paying 5-6 Dollar per Gallon is a lot for them. I have been in the US three years ago. The cheapest price for gas was 1.40 Dollar in Louisiana which was mind blowing for me. The last time Germany had such prices where in 1975.

another reason why more people should work from home if possible, government should give companies incentives to companies to employ work from home, less people one the roads, less traffic, less demand for oil

"No dictators should be invited..." I, a Brazilian, hearing that: "What's Bolsonaro doing there then?" 🤔 Oh, wait, he's not a dictator yet. He just spends most of his time openly talking about trying a coup when he inevitably loses the election. Nothing to worry about, don't you think, my Unitedstatesian friends?
