@@chrisrowe7503 Spot on. Soaps now tend to introduce a villain as a plot device and they either die or end up in prison never to be seen again. Very lazy of the writers. I love the fact that with Nick & Terry, you knew they were out there on the loose and could show up anytime over the years to wreak havoc. My missus hates the villains but to me, they are the best part of soap land.

I was just thinking "are there any other characters with a catchphrase..?" then I saw your comment. 😂 I'll add Pat and Peggy's "you bitch" "you caaah" Bianca's "RICKEEEEYYYYYUH!" and, of course, Dot's "oooh I say" and "you know I ain't one to gossip but..." 😂😂😂

What I did like was the last time Nick was in it before he died he had no malice towards Dot whatsoever which made a change from all the other times. His dying breath was to say he was sorry which showed deep down he loved his mum really.

EE Scenes 85 it was ultimately all a misquote the actor wanted a part in the French production on stage of 'alllomarr' so everytime he turned up they just asked the actor wha he was looking for and it turned into a misunderstood catchphrase of 'hello ma'

yeh id like to see him again , but like the other commenter said it wouldnt be right for dot as a christian woman i said in another nick vid , john altman was robbed of an epic death and proper eastender farewell, he should hav been ill on his death bed apoligising and reconciling with his kids charlie and dotty , and then ashleys spirit could have appeared " its time to go now dad"
