I've always loved these guys. For the first proper sonic figures they do an alright job. It's to bad they've never been rereleased. Also, one thing to note is that there cartoony nature comes from the fact that they were based directly off of the game's promo art. Notice how the hands and limbs are positioned to copy various pieces of artwork. There's actually a tails variant that even has his eyes looking to the side.

I love this video very much, and every once in a while I come back to it. I’ve had sonic and tails (loose) for some time, and finally I found knuckles BOXED at an unbelievable price. Waiting for it to arrive, but I’m so so excited to have the trio finally together. These are my favorite figures ever, I love everything about them, so expressive and weird! It’s so appealing to me for some reason. Truly the product of a group of people who loved their job. Resaurus toys are the best, forever and ever. Thanks for this video! Very relaxing and wholesome, and I’ll definitely come back to it some other time :)
