So cool to see these figures again. My father, Doug Sapp, was the president of Resaurus. So obviously growing up my siblings and I loved playing with these.

Fun fact: Robot Chicken owns a Resaurus sonic figure and created a clay replica for their episodes but they keep the original action figure for reference.

I will never forget that Christmas....1999 my whole life up until that point I wanted a sonic action figure and my dad told me to look behind the tree for an extra present and there it was a sonic toy looking right back at me.......still my favorite Christmas moment of my life lmao

When I was young, my grandma used to go to thrift stores and surprisingly found the 11 inch sonic that was in the video. I loved the toy as a kid and I still have the figure today. The thing that sucks is that there are marks on the toy and the white of Sonics gloves and shoes are turning yellow but I can easily repaint the figure whenever. I’m glad I came across this video because I always knew it was resaurus by the look of it but had never understood why it was so tall compared to the other figures. Now I know what figure it is and how rare it actually is considering it was in a thrift store for like $1.50 Edit: I’m debating wether repainting the figure or leaving it as is because I never repainted a figure before and I don’t want to mess it up anymore than it is.

I just recently got the first set mint in box and I couldn’t agree more As a kid I didn’t have Internet access and I was not able to get any of these figures and I was not even aware of them when I was younger When I first found out about them I was soo happy I always love the Adventure games and owning any merchandise from that era hits home to me So I set out to owning the complete set myself and even tho many say there a bit wonky looking there super unique and even till this day there highly prize by collectors I would of killed if they made a super sonic and who knows if they toss in chaos emeralds Accessories that would of been awesome I really enjoy this video style seeing how I watch pacmac and I know treasure hunting sonic he follows me XD and enjoys my many sonic updates and collectibles I acquire It’s good that your starting this series and I honestly feel more sonic fans should know the sonic adventure resaurus figures So they be much more aware of them as always Awesome video 👍

I had the Sonic and Big the cat, amazing figures, the sonic was like my most tresured toy as a kid, played so much with it that i ended in pieces like the one from that kid you showed lol, he is missing an arm and a leg, and his head in glued on (maybe not even anymore) my best friend had the skies sonic and Amy, our childhood wouldnt have been the same without them! i was thinking maybe a could try and make a hole into the Resaurus head and use it as an alternate head for my Jakks Pacific 4 inch articulated figure that i bought recently for my birthday or do somehting else with it idk, also had lots of the crash figures, amazing as well, too bad the company died, it held quality over quantity and thats awessome

In 2014 I found Sonic, Tails and Knux for £10 each in a Retro game store. The back card was loose but the figures are still new in the pack

I found a Knuckles on ebay ages ago just for 10 pounds, no accessories and I love it so much. These figures are the absolute best imo and I would have traded jazwares for this in an instant.

Durable? Every single one of my action figures I had (Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, and I remember buying another Sonic) basically crumbled in my hands. I was a little kid, so it hurt a lot. I had the deluxe figure and he lasted a long time...until his head came off, but this was like 10 years after I got him one Easter, so bleh
