Pugs, Frenchies and Huskies were the favorite dogs for about 3 years …so all the breeding was done and now that’s why so many in shelters…..stop breeding your pets….half of all litters end up in shelters for varies reasons….and thousands are put down. We have adopted practically every breed…every dog deserves a loving home….❤❤❤❤

It is so wonderful that Asher House is able to save so many dogs from euthanasia, what i call shelter shutdown, and also shelter eternity. Meanwhile, to have the dogs long enough to get them veted and vetted, decompressed, socialized and house trained as needed and possible. I was so pleased to hear you mention that you do put a number of your rescues on the path to what i assume is single family adoption; and i do realize that for a number of reasons that Asher House will be the furever home for some of your rescues. Thank you for what you, your team, your transport and other partners do.

I would love to adopt a dog again. Both of my dogs are in heaven now and life without dogs sucks! I can’t adopt from you (living in Sweden) so I just started donating monthly instead. Thank you for caring for these beautiful dogs ❤

I wish you luck and I hope you find a lucky dog somewhere to adopt. . I just read an unsettling statistic;on average a dog only gets 13 summers to his life. That’s a pretty sobering statistic today. I’m currently on my fourth rescue of a senior & we’ve had 12 summers. I hope to make it to 13.My senior companion pet Coby has no teeth. he needs me to cut and almost chew his food for him and put the food to his mouth. I’m determined to give him the best life possible that he has left in his senior years. He’s also blind and deaf. I love and adore the little guy. These things are not his fault and I know I have to face his inevitable fate but he and I will go kicking and screaming to the end. Please adopt a fur baby if you can. It’s so worth it and good luck. 🍀

Umm, no, they are thinking “who the hell is this guy and why is he handling me so aggressively?” Lee is absolutely oblivious to the signs and signals the dogs are giving. 🤦‍♀️ Rescue dogs need decompression time, not rough handling.

@@melissahamre8256 When a dog needs decompression, I've seen the dog get a great area to feel secure, and yet free to adventure out if they want too. The dogs are happy living there, that clear.

I love watching the pack walk the paths of the property. Probably because in real time life we don't get to see how dogs socialize and its a misconception that this cannot be done. Its a true testament to how well you are at maintaining their health and mental well being. ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Omg Unique. Sweet baby land seal looks like she's been through the ringer, of course, used for breeding and thrown away once she was all used up. I'm SO glad she's safe. These pitties so rarely get out of shelters, despite that they're always the SWEETEST ANGELS when they're rescued. Awww and the bonded pittie mixes 😭😭😭😭 thank you for saving them together!! Guh my heart.
