You might remember Paige, a young girl who contacted us and shared a picture of her dressed up for a school Halloween party as a zombie Miss Violet.
Well Paige’s mum contacted us again with some lovely photos of Paige’s recent 16th birthday party. We were really touched when we saw the pictures. You see, Paige loves the dogs at the farm, especially Miss Violet, but all of them and the videos make her smile each day and the fact that these doggies like Chance are getting training and a second chance Paige most especially loves that. Paige made these beautiful posters about all the dogs at the farm and what we do here to inspire her friends and family for her birthday party as well as a box for them to contribute towards the farm instead of giving her presents. For Luke and I, this is truly special.
Ever since I heard I haven’t stopped thinking about what Paige did and the photos of the posters and the box. What a truly remarkable young person.
It’s hard to know what to say in thanks to someone doing something like this. Because Paige gets so much joy out of the videos, we thought we would do something a little different to say happy birthday Paige and of course thank you.
So a little fun in the trampoline Dru so kindly gave us and a whole lot of balls … which were gifted to us also for the puppies. Thank you, thank you.
There were a few surprises, none more than Joey, who LOVED the experience. Leaping up in the air with all the balls flying.
We then did some mail/package opening and the gifts were so very thoughtful and touching. So much effort had been put into who each of us are here at the farm, human or dog. It is amazing and we are so thankful. We are so fortunate to have such a supportive community surrounding us. It is not just gifts of course, we talk about the people who comment and watch our videos who give us words of encouragement everyday. It gives us so much positive energy that we pass on to the dogs in everything we do here at the farm and we are so grateful for that. Thank you everyone.
