I have to say I have never just sat and watched someone clean something with such delicacy and methodically as you do. I love the fact you restore old metal toys. Watching the construction vehicle ones brought a lot of memories of my childhood back. I had all of the constructions ones, the large metal earth movers. Awesome toys that you always make look better than brand new. These are such collectibles now. Would make for some awesome display pieces. Love the work you do and look forward to watching more.

Watching your restorations is one of the most sublime experiences On KZfaq! I hope you get lots of funding for your projects. This makes me wish i had kept the Tonka trucks I had in the late 60’s . You really are one of the top restorers on KZfaq! Not only do you do a fantastic job but your videos are top notch and you have a cute sense of humor that comes through without you saying a word. Blessings to you and your wife and may you have many years of happy restoring. Most importantly you are keeping the landfills clear by bringing to life the usefulness of products left to rot. All around a worthwhile and most worthy job!

My dad gave me this Tonka tow truck for Christmas in the early sixties. I played with it for years and when I stopped playing with it I placed it in my toy box, in the basement, and forgot about it. It sat in there in for 20+ years until I thought I would look inside the box. I thought about throwing it away, as I did with so many other things but thought better of it. I placed it on top of my bookcase, in my office where it has sat since. I am now in my 60s and as I work at my desk I look up from time-to-time at it sitting there and think of times past.

When I was nearing the end of the video I kept wondering if he’d actually tow something with it, AND HE DID. My joy when he did was palpable.
