I live probably as long as you are, under a rock, in Poland [it's country in Europe, near to Ukraine ;] but I've been watching your videos from about half a year. Thank you for your great job, golden hart and priceless tips. I've been a volunteer in shelter with more than 600 dogs for a while, but now I'm looking for a smaller shelter - just to teach dogs good manners so they could have a better live in their new homes. I'm a shaman - witch [and dog trainer ;] Now I live with german shepherd / husky mix. She came to me 5 years ago - now she's nine years old and she's as obedient as Goofi is... OK - not that much but almost; husky has it's own idea of "heel" but always comes when asked. Robert, you made my day with this movie Thank you! Forgive my English - I speak better than I write ;)

I saw this and used up a few tissues :) The shelter that participated/he chose to collaborate with is the one I adopted my girl from almost two years ago. Just to clarify in case it was a wee bit confusing: The participating rescue (BDRR) wouldn't have put any dogs down (they are NOT a kill shelter) - but they do rescue dogs from kill shelters. Some of the dogs in this amazing operation had been rescued from kill shelters originally. This rescue saved my girl from one of those. This is actually the second time he has rescued dogs. A while back he found homes for all the dogs in a shelter. He’s really upped his game with this one!!

i was super happy to see NONE of these dogs with reactivity & ALL of them walked decently on a leash. absolutely amazing. these dogs are doing so well & i am jappy to hear the future of these dogs.

I have to go watch this asap, need some good news. We're doing our part over here the best we can. New years morning two dumped puppies were on our back porch in the freezing cold. We're caring for them and keeping one, but trying so hard to find a GOOD home for the other. The south is overrun with unwanted, stray, and dumped dogs though (culture shock for me, it's like a third world country when it comes to dogs over here). We haven't had any luck and I'm not sure what we're going to do. Rescue groups can't help, and we so badly do not want him to go to animal control. We didn't ask for this and neither did they, but we're doing the best we can.

My current dog was adopted at 2.5 yo. He is a high drive herding breed, and I have owned this breed for over 35 years. I was hesitant at first as they can be and are, hard dogs. I can truly say he is the best dog I have ever had, but it took work. Almost a year of undoing bad behaviours and teaching obedience, but boy is he worth it. He is a completely different dog to when he was adopted, no more reactivity, no scaling fences, he can be walked anywhere off lead, he can mix and mingle with any dog. I never believed people when they said the love of an adopted dog is different. it surely is. Well done Mr. Beast, well done

Robert, last October I adopted a 7yr untrained Belgian Malinois (Luci) from a bad home after YOUR videos convinced me that she could be a fantastic companion. I've had plenty of GSD's in my life and thought I'd be up to the challenge, and she quickly transformed into an integral member of our family. Unfortunately, in November of this year, she began showing signs of GDV and, as it was late at night on a weekend, the cost for surgery and care was more than I could afford at a moments notice (over 8k) and we were forced to euthanize her. The fact that Mrbeast gave them all health insurance blew me away! And to top it off, you mentioned we should go out and help a dog... what are the chances that this is the first video I watched after spending two days looking for the home of a ~8 month Belgian Mal that I found on the street yesterday? She wasn't chipped, but after going door to door we ran into a neighbor of someone looking for their lost belgian and got her home! Thanks for all the great videos, you're helping a lot of good pups!

Such a great guy! All those dogs now (hopefully) have found a loving forever home and family. Can't get better than that - my last 2 dogs have been rescue dogs and my daughter has one too. There's something so special when you watch them start trusting and knowing that you are with them till the end. You can see them almost sigh and relax when they realise they no longer have to fear being left alone ever again. My old boy passed away last year so I'm down to just my girl now. When the time comes, if I outlive her, and I am able to, I will foster because I don't want to have one and then pass away leaving them to grieve and have to be rehomed. I don't think I could survive without a dog in my life! ❤❤

I hope they are really good homes and that they will love and appreciate these dogs for the rest of their days. All the dog training, grooming certainly helps, So happy for all of those dogs and the fact that empty cages are always good in shelters. Oh how I wish I had pet insurance and dog food for life as I am struggling to keep my dogs I currently have. I would even get another dog. Merry Christmas to all.

I am fostering a Great Pyrenees currently. He is a HUGE 1 yr old just neutered male and a total love. Teaching him some manners and just needed to get out of the shelter for awhile. We will probably once again be a foster fail….. Merry Christmas!!

It guts me seeing kill shelters around me putting down dogs. There is a kill shelter in Riverside that just put down 6 Belgian Malinois pups today 12/23, absolutely killed me on the inside. If I didn't have 3 GSD's and 1 Belgian Malinois and would have to register my home as a kennel, i would have taken them. Quite surprising we have kill shelters in liberal California.

I haven’t watched the video. Don’t need to or want to. For those moved by the video find volunteer opportunities at your local shelters or volunteer for dog transport operations that move dogs from kill shelters. Many breed specific organizations need volunteer drivers too.I did this most weekends for about 5 years. The sad fact is that there are not enough homes for dogs and cats that are abandoned or surrendered. Many local shelters are forced to euthanize as there is no space. And some that are no kill facilities are in a warehousing situation. There have been several news stories lately. Im not against euthanasia as it is far more humane than some of the alternatives these animals face. We cannot save them all but for those that we can it is all the world of difference.
