Thank you for your informative video. No matter which way I turn, there are roadblocks in regards to my 2nd great-grandmother. I have quite a few generations back on her husband's family, my 2nd great-grandfather. She was allegedly adopted and I have been stuck for many years, with no luck finding a record of any kind that might point to her parents, no matter where I look or what I do. Even my autosomal and mtDNA tests have not helped. Have a blessed weekend.

Have you tried the Leeds method?

Yes, I have. Thank you for the suggestion, though. In my initial Leeds chart, I had only two columns for my maternal grandparents- one for Grandma and one for Grandpa. Unfortunately, Grandma’s column points to her paternal side and this brickwall is on her maternal side. I keep waiting and hoping for the one match to come along that will break it down.
