@ZacJonesKZfaq carboots are good but you've got be there early and the competition is fierce. Facebook marketplace is also very good but again got be quick and look past the scam adverts. I've been doing it over 6 years now ( 1 year full time ) and it pays my mortgage and bills. It's definitely not a get rich quick scheme but if you do the research it will come eventually

I have to make you right. We are full time sellers on eBay and Amazon. We initially started our business buying second hand books from charity shops and done quite well. That was 15 years ago. However, charity shops, especially the well known ones could see the potential themselves and employed people who had a bit of savvy and knew the online market and set up their own eBay and Amazon selling accounts. To be fair, charity shops are there to return a profit for their causes but today, they are run as big businesses. I was once a delivery driver, quite often regularly delivering to the head office of Barnardos, based in Ilford, Essex. One could not imagine the amount of brand new BMWs, Mercedes, etc parked in their car park, not to mention the state of the art building itself. We have moved on with our business since them days but my tip is to search out hidden away little charity shops that exist in many towns and villages and are not a part of the high street giants if you choose to go the route of buying from charity shops to return a profit on line. Already had knowledge to be fair. I got 11 items currently up for sale and 10 more to list on eBay. Just brought a brand new coat today with tags saying £249 and I paid £15 for it lol. Another great week of buying now hopefully a great week of selling (weekends always my best days selling on eBay)
