This will show you how to reset Eufy T8200 wired doorbell back to factory default settings.

We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version kzfaq.infoUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

I did this to try to go back to the previous firmware version but it did not change the firmware. Eufy customer support said I have to call back to get an engineer to install the firmware remotely.

Lol…no. Take the 8 mini screws out on the back and open it up. That pin hole leads directly to the battery and punctures a hole in it if you stick something in there. I’d share a pic if I could on here. Just opened mine up, identical model as the one in the video.

I don't think the model in this video has a battery. I do have a battery powered one and it's confusing because it has a hole in exactly the same place. Only if you look closely the back looks a bit different. I also opened it up and thankfully the battery is made of two cylindrical batteries and you're just poking the tape between them, so unless you're poking really hard and deep you won't damage the actual battery.

The video is stored separately in your Homebase device. You keep that inside or somewhere secure.
