Genie Wireless Keypad-IC
Genie GWK-BL Wireless Keypad
First: Reset Wireless Keypad
Open cover half way
Press and hold (PROG) and 8 while fully opening cover
INDICATOR will blink once and go out
Close cover fully
Second: Program The Wireless Keypad
Open cover fully (one blink and goes out)
Press 3-5-7
Press "PROG" ( Double blinks each second )
Close cover fully
Third: Find Learn Code Button On Door Operator Power Head
Press Learn Code Button (binks)
Enter Pin
Press Send (stays on)
Press Send (goes out)
Press Send (run)
Press Send (stop)

Many thanks for posting this! Concise, easy, step-by-step instructions. The visuals were a blessing as my outdoor pad malfunctioned. The repair shop emailed me directions on how to reset it, but I got stumped at the "Press Operator Learn Code Button." There was no such button on the remote keypad. However, your video cleared things up and there I was, at nearly midnight, on a ladder in the garage, getting greasy, taking the Philips head screw driver (mine did not "pop off" as your's did) to remove the Genie cover (and of course chase the one screw that fell to the garage floor :-(. Many thanks for saving me a service call!!

I had a Genie Keyless Garage opener that had the Model name 12A which was earlier than this model. You must enter the DOOR CODE then * to connect the motor to the wireless keypad.

Thank you so much for making and uploading this, man! I had the instructions, but I didn't know whether "open cover fully" meant "take the cover all the way off" or what. Being able to see each step made it crystal clear, and I had it programmed in minutes after watching this. It would have taken me a lot longer than that with the instructions alone!

Thank you for your video. The steps work almost 95%. I did have to hold one button down longer then what you suggested. It came down to trial and error for me. I think maybe mine is a little older then most. But, it now does work. Thanks again....
