Ingredients:
Black cardamom 2
Nutmeg 1/2 inch
Cloves 10-12
Cinnamon sticks (1 inch) 3
Black peppercorns 1 tsp
Star anise 3
Button red chilies 10-12
Salt 1/2 tsp
Boneless beef 800 g
Split Chickpeas (boiled) 1 cup
Red chili powder 1 ½ tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander (Crushed) 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Green chilies 3-4
Mint leaves 1/2 cup
Green coriander 1/4 cup
Egg 1
Boiled beef
Directions:
1. In a muslin cloth add black cardamom, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon stick, star anise and wrap them in cloth and make a sachet. Set aside.
2. Now in a pan add water, beef, button chilies, salt, prepared sachet and mix well. Cover it with lid and cook for about 30-40 mins or until beef is tender. Take off flame.
3. In a chopper add cooked beef, boiled lentil, red chili powder, turmeric, crushed coriander, cumin powder, black pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, egg, green chilies, mint leaves, green coriander and chop until roughly combines.
4. Now take the kabab mixture and make kabab shapes, shallow fry each side for 3-4 mins until light golden in color. Kababs are ready.
Preparation time: 10-15 mins
Cooking time: 40-45 mins
