This Leon is more masculine than in remake, and he is who say to Claire where to meet. In the remake is Claire saying to Leon to go the Police station and he is like "oki, ill be there", nonsense that a girl say to a male police where to meet, is just not realistic. :)

I don't get it, she has a knife, so why didn't she use it?! I mean even if she didn't know it was a zombie, she still had that knife for a reason. I know I would pull my knife on somebody who was advancing towards me and wouldn't back off, whether they are a zombie or not.

As a person who grow up with the original, this version is awesome but I think the remake was much better, the entire sequence with the cop being bitten and having to sneak past a zombie to find a key to escape and then being surrounded by zombies inside the gas station only to be rescued by Leon was a much better opening, I died so many times my first time playing that opening on hardcore since I only had 3 bullets, basically if I describe each opening as a food, the original is like delicious medium rare juicy steak with mashed potatoes, but the remake is that plus a finely cooked lobster tail and a shrimp skewer
