Technically yes wesker albert and birkin william were buddies in the whole umbrella corporation. Why wouldn't they be? But you see. Wesker died by lava and was shot by two rocket launcher missiles by chris and sheva. William mutated into a big g monster and was destroyed by fire on a train car. Where leon and claire and sherry were. Yes. I played Re 2. Not the remake but the original original one that was made in 1998. Which is on my ps vita right now.

Because people were tired of the series diverging too far from its horror action survivor roots and becoming too action movie-esque. Personally, I liked the game and honestly didn't mind the action over the horror.

chapacoka I love this game it's so badass in every way and brings resident evil to a whole new level it be boring just seeing them fight normal zombies all the time. it's great to see them fight big ass monsters government bad guys and other creatures as well resident evil isn't really about zombies it's about surviving the apocalypse.

out of context but I feel less bad knowing there's still people out there who care about this game. every forum and blog on re6 seems to be dead lol. I only recently played it and it wasn't TOO bad tbh. I liked Jake's campaign and he strongly reminds me of a more cynical/jaded version of Dante from DMC3. Also his motion capture actor is Dan Southworth sooo 👍👍. long story short he has potential as a main for a future resident evil game; maybe something where he has to try and fix what his father left behind & make an identity for himself to the world. but I still see why people would be disappointed; even RE4, the first "modern" RE game, had horror and atmosphere right. this one is more action/survival and from what I can tell, they were trying out new functions and putting dialogue during gameplay rather than just making separate cutscenes.

I remember the way the old games and were and I thought how come these characters arent much more capable of killing these B.O.Ws? ( I know because of the technology of gaming wasnt advanced compared to today back then)

I initially wondered the same thing, but Wesker was still Jake's father and blood runs thicker than water. despite wesker being super evil, there's still the fact that he was his father. plus, people do things sometimes that just don't make sense. lol we've all seen it and done it ourselves, sometimes people act irrationally. plus jake's super impulsive as it is

There's a brief dialogue between Piers and Chris (if you play in Chris' mission) following that scene where Jake finds out it was Chris that killed Wesker. Piers wonders the same thing and Chris essentially tells him that, at the end of the day, Wesker was Jake's father and Chris was his father's killer. Jake never got to meet his father, never got any direct closure, and - thanks to Chris - would never get an opportunity at either.

SgtShella Well, she may have the healing ability, but unlike Wolverine, she doesn't heal that fast(except for that crash sçene). She can still die if she took plentiful of damage. At least that's I would like to believe. A little more info could help.

I'm not sure he even knew about Jake. But even if he did, and didn't care about Jake at all, it's not like Jake knew that. He knew absolutely nothing of his father before the events of this game.

Wesker probably didn't even knew Jake existed, if he did he would have known about his son's antibodies he inherited from him.

I think it's more of a "I couldn't even get to know my father because of you" than a "you killed my father" thing. Jake seems to blame his poor behavior on his dad who he assumed was a deadbeat and left it at that. But then he was told his father was more than merely a "deadbeat" but a global terrorist that attempted to destroy the world. Something that clearly upset Jake as he felt he himself was actually worse than he imagined thanks to his dad and thats why he acts the way he does, which Sherry promptly and correctly called him out on his bullshit. However that doesn't absolve the questions Jake still has, like "why did he do it?", "did he even think about me? as his son?", "why did he abandon mom and me?", "did he feel guilt or regret over it?", "given another chance would he take it all back and live with us?" All those questions are likely in Jake's mind now and are messing with him emotionally, so to be told essentially "Hey, I'm the guy who took away your chance to have any answers or closure" is very, very vexing. *TL;DR:* I think Jake's more salty that Chris made it so Jake couldn't ask his dad why he was a piece of shit, or if his dad ever missed him.
