There are more inconsistencies with the mansion that doesn't make sense like the two step staircase to the "attic". Those stairs are just pointless since there is no reason to raise that room only two steps. Other oddities is the fireplace in the main dininghall. Where is the chimney stack? There is a window above it! And the trap room before the shotgun, where is that Boulder stored? When Barry saves you ot is shown that the Boulder is at least the height of the door, but there is no such Boulder anywhere upstairs! Another issue is the hallway om the 2nd floor at the back which leads towards the stairs that tale you to the third floor. If you look at the map you will notice that the 2nd floor is actually deeper/larger than the first floor, so that hallway is actually hanging there suspended I'm the air. I mean such things can be done, but it kind of feels as if this was just a mistake be the people that designed the map. As for your model, I really liked it! However there are a couple of issues with it. 1. No basement! 2. The fenced area outside you reach if you open the door next to the toilet is actually a raised platform. Look at it closely next time you play the game. It is raised around one one meter above the ground. Also, this is needed because the main entrance is reached by climbing two or three steps.

@@ExodusCore The second floor being larger than the first is particularly interesting because I think that's more of an issue with the remake than the 1996 original since that back hallway that leads to the third floor, as well as the staircase area that leads to that back hallway are exclusive to the remake. Although I didn't show the back of the mansion in this video, if you look at my Instagram, I do have the 2nd floor hanging over the first and I used some pillars to support it. Speaking of oddities about the remakes, I'm currently working on the RPD from RE2 and I've already discovered some weird things: - the car ramp that leads to the basement parking garage is behind that back staircase area on the west side of the first floor when it reaches street level. This is odd because there is a window in that staircase area that a zombie actually pops out of. Somehow, he is able to phase through the roofing structure of the car ramp to get through. That window doesn't make sense. Oddly, if you stand outside the ramp on the street and look at the back of the RPD, it would have you believe that the ramp is actually behind the Main Hall but that doesn't make sense either since that's where the Chief's elevator is. - the basement is actually wider than the RPD. Not a innaccuracy per say, but it does make the RPD structure itself off-center since the points where it connects with the basement are more on the eastern/center side. Those jail cells hang on the western side and make the basement wider. - Another non-innaccuracy, but also interesting to note is just how deep underground both the lab and sewers must be. That elevator in the Secret Office area under the statue goes further underground than the basement, which makes sense since you have to climb via ladder up into the basement from that factory area. But the long staircase down to the other elevator that leads you to the sewers, and than the descending tram ride into the lab... they must be reaching the core of the planet especially when you consider that big open area in the lab with the three cat-walks - huge black abyss underneath and another elevator that leads even further underground AND that big elevator where Leon fights Mr. X that goes EVEN FURTHER underground till he gets to the train. And the train manages to bring them back to street level... must have been one hell of an incline on those tracks.

neamraven someone calculated it out to make the mansion in the ozarks (where the Arklay mountains are based off of) it would cost around 2.3 million.

@@bf9562m 2.3 million would be the price of several good oak or walnut tables + several good oak or walnut doors and a bit of wood paneling. The furniture alone is in the tens if not hundreds of millions. I'm not talking about a knock off mansion with cheap knock off furniture, I'm talking about the real thing.

@@bf9562m It's as if you didn't read what I wrote. You're giving me an estimate for a random house of comparable size. That does not mean you get the Spencer Mansion for that price. It means you get a random house of comparable size. That's it. This does not include the custom layout, the furniture, the paintings, the suits of armor and swords that would cost tens of thousands each if they are genuine, etc.

I'm not a gamer by any means. But Resident Evil 2 was my introduction back in late 1998. I was about to be ten years old, and was captivated. The classic nostalgic sounds of firing up that PS1 still gives me that feeling. I'd never seen a game like this and always loved undead type stories and scenarios. When the disclaimer of "explicit violence and gore" I didn't know what I was getting into and was scared but also excited. After the text leading us into another trip into survival horror and the intro scenes. When that opening music rolled us into the mangled streets of Racoon City I was enthralled for life. It's the only series of games I was always seeking more of. Back then things weren't nearly as oversaturated and we simply had to wait for more. Of course there are the less desirable installment but we always had the gems to look forward to. When 4 came out, it was a new era for fans of the series. Got older and things will happen. After 5, I fell out coz 6 was what it was and too theatrical for my likings. However, instead of needing the newest releases. I could and can still wait for the price drop. I'll always collect the games I loved and will love playing. I've always been behind in trends, as I'm not able to fall into the norm of fads and such things. Seems like when I'm getting into something it's after the masses have phased out and onto the next popular discovery. When the PS1 and N64 were getting old, I was just getting a genesis and it's always been this way for things like that in pop culture. Here's the reason for this.... We are dedicated fans of these games. I have a lot of little crafty things laying around I could have sent or provided to remedy the parts and pieces this creator was unable to find and improvised to make. I'm sure many of us would be willing to lend assistance if we had little odds and ends that would make the process go faster. I want to see the RPD and I know I ain't the only one. If dude was to reach out and provided info on the latest project and had a list of hard to "obtain"😉 items. I'm sure the community would be happy to help provide the things that are hard to find or shape yourself. I have little 1:26 scale eagles, and plenty of pieces to make accurate size candelabras and such. I like building models and dioramas as well, so I'm always willing to help a fellow artist with their work. Maybe this will catch on, maybe nobody will even read this. It doesn't matter, I've spoke my part and just watched a video of something I've always wanted to see. Thank you for the great work and keep it up 🤘🏻🤘🏻 -RPD MODEL!!!!??

Just goes to show that some rooms in the mansion isn’t very well lit or no natural lighting, in the daytime! Those rooms have no windows! Just pitch black unless the lamps are on! Scary.. claustrophobic even...

Analizing this, as an arquitect, I can honestly say, that this design is totally wrong, well just the atrium and the dinner room looks nice, the kitchen in the basement doesnt give me much confidence, the bathroom far from everything, where does this millionare guy would sleep, in the library? In the other house? At the armors display room, there is more place for things than for people, oh my god!!!

This is beyond EPIC! Not only did you recreate the Mansion but you went the extra detail of putting all the rooms and the accurate color of walls, floors,and details like the mirrors or the puzzles like the tiger room, man this is so amazing! Iam building a 3d model base on map and ingame image, but Iam dead stuck on decoration. Then I found this video.This video help me a lot on my project. Thank you. I swear to god when I have enough money that big, I will build a real life 1:1 Spencer Mansion and all of us - the fan, will have a free tour all over the place even the lab, the cabin and the guardhouse. And that is the nail to my coffin.

Nice work, Max. It’s a very satisfying physical conclusion to something that’s been a huge interest to me since I was a kid and first peeing my pants to the original game! The remake in 2002 blew my mind, and bladder, even more. Be proud of this!

The reason why the Mansion only had one Bathroom was because the Mansion was never designed to be a functional home but rather it was a façade and a prop for Spencer to perform his bioweapon experiments in. It's also the same reason why Spencer had all those traps and puzzles installed in the Mansion because it was really a deathtrap designed to kill it's architect.

Wow this is amazing so creative. I been making alot of resident evil characters jewellery and resident themed jewellery with certain items from each game and as I was making a little first aid charm I thought I wonder if anyone has made the whole mansion that would be so cool. Holy Shit!!! This is awesome! I thought I was only one obsessed with this mansion. If I was a billionaire I would totally build a mansion and charge people for a tour based on the real mansion from the video games and novels on the REAL DEAL. I love your showcase and video and damn....Much respect. I love Resident Evil and I love the history of the mansion and characters and history and don't see much about it and you made my day with this.
