Since we're reminiscing about the original... a lasting moment for me is at the end of the game when the credits roll. The cheery melody playing with the portraits of the villagers just living their lives. Then the transition from light to dark when the cult shows up and ruins the poor folks. It was a well done montage that stuck to me.

I've stopped by this video a couple times throughout the last few years. Still think this is phenomenal & would love to know if you're indeed still going to make the RPD and if so, how far along are you?

Right, so I should probably give an explanation on what happened with the RPD after this video: Extremely long story short - I lost interest. I might find passion in doing it again, but after the past few years... it just hasn't clicked with me like building the mansion did. It also doesn't help that the Resident Evil series in recent years hasn't really been exciting me (both the RE3 and RE4 Remakes disappointed me as did RE7 and RE8). I've been focusing more on just playing games I enjoy and just trying to find my own happiness in this crazy world. Thanks for periodically stopping by and checking things out. I appreciate it.

The thing about the bathrooms it is something that even tho is a common sense place to have in games wasn't that much of a priority to visit unless there is a story tie in involved like in Silent Hill, you get to enter a bathroom since it's related to the story and lore itself meanwhile in games like RE it's irrelevant. Anyway that aside you have to basically imagine that there is a restroom or bathroom in places and looking at basic layouts of building is also quite pointless because there are tons of rooms you don't get to enter nor even know they could exist. The entire mansion even outside sections have so many hidden places and ways to go around etc but you never visit some places so we never really know the actual exact layout of anything in these games unless someone gives us a full blueprint, which doesn't exist since details that are not used never made into any design. So sometimes we get to have creative freedom or simply ignore places. Like put a wall, then a door and say this is store room or rest room, we don't need to enter or interact with like some other key places etc. Lets be honest in a scenario like RE2 and RE3 restrooms would be the first place to loot it clean by randoms ... besides most places have nothing inside them anyway just toiletpaper. 1st aid kids are always placed in offices or utility rooms, never in any rest rooms. Either way still love seeing people coming up and building these things outside of it's original realm. I did it years ago too in my teen years and was quite fun to do. From real life models, to building in software etc. Love it.
