I wish I still had the car! Got rear ended on i95 by a Dodge Durango going 50 mph and completely totaled it ! 🤦🏾‍♂️ I now have a 2019 Ford Taurus limited and I’m thinking of chopping off the resonators and the muffler and putting the cherry bomb in place of the resonator!

@@ELUSIVETURTLE16 honestly didn’t cross my mind at the time I was heading off to college soon after so my mind was on that more than the car. I drove the car for a good month after it was totaled and just gave it up for about $2000 bucks when I was otw home from work and it popped both rear tires

Yeh cold starts sounded amazing it def isn’t a sound you think would come out of the car when you hit the gas looking back I do recommend so type of muffler tho! As the car warms up the deep growl only happens at idle

The shop will put fresh pipes on there! Shops don’t typically like you bringing your own products they won’t back them but definitely ask if that’s the route you want to take… and plus they’ll have whatever size pipe you want to put on your car and they’ll replace it for free if anything happens to it

You know there’s some badass mini vans out there right but I digress I don’t even have the car anymore 😭

I honestly don’t remember the brand my bad man but just make sure it’s 2.5 in to 4 outlets to get that sound

Was a bit more expensive for me cuz I bought tips at the shop and Need new flex pipes so at most you be looking at $575-$600 if you need some replacement parts but if your all good about $400-$500 including tips at a quality shop

That’s all my guy! If you don’t want as much rasp I’d say put a cherry Bomb on it somewhere in place of the muffler or res

I’m total it cost me $575 originally was $476 but my flex pipe was damaged so I got it replaced at the shop

2.5 inlet to 5 in outlet tips

Different displacement I’m pretty sure they come with 3.5 as well regardless Borla or flow master sounds great with fords

I had no muffler on the car but if you want a more tame sound get a borla muffler will sound amazing

I don’t know too much about vibrant I’m more into flowmaster and borla but I’d say just do the research and see if you find videos of fusions with that setup or cars with a similar displacement too see how it would roughly sound like

@k-drizzy7914 any muffler will help tame the sound and cut down on rasp and drone flow master I would say try the 40 series or if you want it ti be loud and proud but under control the super 10 is great for that

Anything Is usually quieter than nothing on how it would sound I’d say pretty raspy in the higher rpm’s cherry bombs don’t usually have ALOT of chambers in it so it’s more of a sound amplifier then reduction I would say try and find videos of cars with the same displacement (2.5L 4C) with the set up to get a rough idea of what it might sound like

@k-drizzy7914 I’m about to get one done but it’s completely different engine 3.5L v6 so I’m doing a res delete with new magnaflow mufflers or super 10s or 40 series still doing research

@@bigbodytaurus6150another question this with a muffler, resonator, and cat delete? How obnoxious do you think it would be? I still have my cat on and didn’t take it off I was just wondering if it would be any louder

@k-drizzy7914 without the cat you’ll risk not passing inspection depending on the state and it’s harder on your engine and it would be obnoxiously loud I had a 99 F250 with no cats and straight piped and granted that was a v8 you could hear me coming 6+ blocks away it’s stupid loud you’d be better off finding performance/ high flow cats, new down pipes and also there’s a video on yt of a guy taking Miata turbos and putting it on the ford 2.5 engine also get a new intake that will take a lot longer and be more expensive but you’ll get a rlly nice sound and also be able to have ALOT of fun probably pushing 250+ hp depending on the tuner

Lol nah made my jawn faster fr 😭 I had the cat back with a cold air intake and wanted to turbo it but i got rear ended in total I probably gained about 20-25 hp of I had to guess and it was stock like 180hp

No lights came on from the catback I still passed inspection it’s only a four banger so no issues really and my gas mileage went down a bit but I’m heavy footed lol and this didn’t help

I had a light on my fusion but I took the whole cat off here in Indiana they don’t check for stuff like that just pay for a sticker for your plate and go

$575 in total my flex pipe was trashed so they fixed that too without that it would have been a hundred dollars less

That’s including the tip I bought from them
