@@falconeerdev Something I would recommend to keep in mind though for ingame video links is some games have done it in the pass and has caused crashes so just be careful about that. A example animation might not be a bad idea either : )

You explained it better in this video, than the in game tutorials did. Do you plan on addressing that? As much as I like organically bumbling around, direction and a goal are also appreciated.

Yes i am working on it. Doing little bits of improvement every update. I think the resources distance thing is the most confusing at this point. So plastering that all over. So yes.
@falconeerdev2 ай бұрын
Also adding special events that motivate you to keep adding population cuz that's the second thing people don't get .. more.population equals more stuff unlocking .

@falconeerdev That's great to hear! I'm also intrigued by the giant "Maw" you have in the first scene map, is there a story behind it that I'm missing?

I build connections through a resource area with an extractor. I notice that houses with the industries don't pop up in the resource area at all for outposts away from my main islands. Even resource areas for my main island seem to occasionally build these industry buildings, but not all the time. So a few questions 1. Do outposts not have a "immigration pull" for people to set up the industries to expand the range of resources? 2. Does building foundations help make more industries? 3. Do I need an imperial, Mancer etc. outpost to pull people to a resource outpost? 4. Do upgraded Stone, Iron paths help make better and/or more industries? 5. Do the industry buildings cost a certain resource that you need supplied to the outpost over a long period of time to grow? Ex. Iron or Stone? Depending on the resource? Also do houses cost wood or stone?
@falconeerdev2 ай бұрын
1 outposts have a range too. So expand them with foundations and walkways to increase .. if workers cannot reach your extractors they cannot build industry.. the green lines 2. Not really...cuz you need the space to get smelters and stone grinders. 3 . Those will work to but upgrade your outpost to a citadel with more connections and foundations (more houses around it) to increase its range 4. Upgraded paths don't matter for resources. Wood is best cuz you leave the most space for industry 5 the industry buildings just require wood and workers.

in this gamei would have loved to be able top walk around my own creation in 1st person view , a bit like satisfactory or factorio . in those games i often go back to the base and just wander around without even playing , just looking at it run on its self. kind of my own private space . the visuals in this game are awesome and would fit that purpose perfectly .
