Who is upon the Truth? The answer is in the saying of the Prophet -Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam -: ”For indeed, those who will still be alive after me will see many differences; so hold fast to my Sunnah, and to the sunnah of the rightly guided Khalifahs after me, Adhere to and cling tightly to it and beware of newly-invented matters, for every newly-invented matter is an innovation and every innovation is deviation.“ (9) Also, his saying: ”The Jews split up into seventy-one sects, the Christians split up into seventy-two sects, and this ummah (Muslims) will split up into seventy-three sects; all of them are in the Fire except one." Someone asked: "which is that one O Messenger of Allah?". He replied: "Whoever is upon that which I am upon and my companions.“(10) These are clear evidences that the Truth is in following the way and understanding of the Sahabah - may Allah be pleased with them-, and who followed their path.

Ibn Hajar said: Some confusing words of Ibn ‘Arabi were mentioned to our master Shaykh al-Islam Siraaj al-Deen al-Balqeeni, and he was asked about Ibn ‘Arabi. Our Shaykh al-Balqeeni said: he is a kaafir. (Ibid., p. 39). Ibn Khaldoon said: Among these Sufis are: Ibn ‘Arabi, Ibn Saba’een, Ibn Barrajaan and their followers who follow their path and their religion. They have many books in circulation that are filled with blatant kufr and repugnant bid’ahs, trying to interpret clear texts in very far-fetched and repugnant ways, such that the reader is astounded that anyone could attribute such things to Islam. (Ibid., p. 41). Al-Subki said: These later Sufis, such as Ibn ‘Arabi and his followers, are misguided and ignorant and beyond the pale of Islam; those among them who have knowledge are even worse. (Ibid., p. 55). Abu Zar’ah ibn al-Haafiz al-‘Iraaqi said: Undoubtedly the famous book Al-Fusoos contains blatant kufr, as does al-Futoohaat al-Makkiyyah. If it is true that he wrote this and continued to believe in it until he died, then he is a kaafir who is doomed to eternity in Hell, no doubt about it. (Ibid., p. 60). So how can any sane person say that these brilliant scholars did not understand Ibn ‘Arabi? If they did not understand him, who can?

Do you know the difference between the maliki scholars ibn al Arabi and the sufi bidah ibn Arabi?

Wahdatul Vujud means that Existence is the Incommunicable Attribute of Divine Essence .Creations exist but the do exist without their respective Existences.Only God existeth with Existence.There is no Kufr in Wahdatul Wujud in this sense. Deobandis are Ahlussunnah.

Stop taking mistakes of scholars as a proof/evidence. The Qur'an, the Sunnah, Ijma' of the Sahaba is enough for us. When the statement of a scholar contradicts the Qur'an and Sunnah we leave their statements.

WHY THE 'ULMAS' OPPOSE SUFISM? On ulema’s estimations the speculative Sufism, at best represented by Ibn ‘Arabi, was the “the single great enemy that threatened to destroy the very fabric of Islamic faith: at-tauhid. The concept of wahdat-al-wujud was “different from the Muslim theological concept of Divine Unity derived from the Koran. By refusing to see a difference between the divine and human realms it did not only struck at the essentially transcendental character of the God of Muslim theology, it reduced the very question of Divine, Justice, Will, Reward, Punishment, and different religions to gross absurdities.”
