Agree, but the real thing is what one is going to keep in. If there is something as a microscope or something like this, the natural look of wood is perfect. The darker color is good for porcelain or ormolu...

Your choice to make that display cabinet a light colour was in excellent taste, and the brown of the keyhole escutcheons is attractive.

Lovely piece! Maybe it would be a little darker, because the old furniture was darker ( except, Art Deco, who was a combination between light and dark colour)

Love this little cabinet. Just kept thinking...that would be a perfect cabinet to keep my collection of tiny figurines in. Seem to have inherited them from every family member. Beautiful little antique things but where do you safely put a 1 inch tall porcelain blue bird. I will be watching for something similar. Thank you for the idea and the restoration display

Kolay gelsin. Hatırladığım kadarıyla bu vitrin dolap daha çok Eczanelerde kullanılıyordu. O dönem ilaçlar eczanede hazırlanırdı. Hammadde gelir, porselen havan ve havan eli ile karışımlar öğütülüp ilaç hazırlanırdı. İngiltere ve Amerika'da bunun büyük vitrinli, alt tarafı çekmecelerle dolu modeli kullanılıyordu. Bu tezgah üstü ekonomik model.
