Great video. This is how we bill but a quick question...how much "reset" do you recommend? We have always reset furniture etc. but not unpacked boxes.

Glad you like the video and great question! I bill reset by the hour. Most of my reset are furniture only as well and then placing boxes in the room they belong in. Don't forget when you bill reset you also bill for any materials that you use as well. Also we usually have a small amount of debris haul off as well.

If a client wants us to reset everything including boxes we do that as well. I let the client dictate how much they want done.

I am all new to this. The lady who did our billing previously already billing for cleaning and i have tons ofitems to add. i can not figure out how to do this?

IF you are using Xactimate you will probably need to do a supplemental bill to the insurance company if you have already been paid on the job. I would recommend doing this sooner than later while the claim is still open and fresh in the adjusters mind.

Hello, I spent about 6 hours removing contents from a packed room to an empty room in the house because the packed room had water damage and we needed to do demo. Would this be considered a packout if items are still stored in the house? Or just contents move out? And what xactimate codes should I use? Beginner at this so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

That is considered content move out or manipulation. I think the line item would be content manipulation by the hour that I would use.
