Okay, this one looked like it was custom faded. Do we have an endless cycle where we have people making models look older and people who then make them look new again, only for someone to make them older?

Yes, i call it de-restoration. Mostly the artificially aged models do look better.

Belo trabalho. Novo ficou muito bonito. Mas esse mercedes com marcas de uso combina mais com ele. Pelo ano, tem que ter marcas de uso. Da mais valor pra ele. Mas foi um belo trabalho de restauração.

gran trabajo. Pero yo hubiera dejado ese modelo así como estaba, desgastado, añejo como aún suelen circular por las calles después de 50 años de trabajo. El desgaste es hasta perfecto diría porque es así como los veo por las calles.

I loved the video, and while I'm at it I'll tell you an anecdote. I am from Argentina and this truck is known as 1114 or 1518, it gained so much fame that it was impossible not to see one of these on the streets or highways, along with LO1114 (the bus) they were the best-selling truck in the country
