Absolutely perfect restoration OH old lantern now you are in new fashion I like the step about the cutting of glass and fixing it perfect. This lamps are very important still now cos they are good use during rainy season. It's has great importance till today. I really appreciate that you have great importance for this lantern. Wisely restored and was perfect. Fantastic job

vidio yang sangat mengagumkan sekali, ini lampu zaman dahulu sewaktu saya masih kecil saya pernah menggunakan nya untuk penerangan dirumah, cara membersihkan nya sangat bermanfaat sekali lampu yang semula terlihat kotor dan berkarat jadi terlihat bagus dan seperti baru lagi, senang rasanya melihat Tutorial nya, kalau di Indonesia ini nama nya lampu Petromak

so awesome! I had one of these same lamps when I was in Boy Scouts, I threw it out when I broke the globe and couldn't get a new so I was forced to get a Coleman. This really brought back memories. There's also a neat little trick with these, since they're more pf a multi-fuel type, if you add a little copper sulfate dust in the fuel the light will burn greenish and it won't attract bugs... can't do that with new ones :)

Bei so dünnen Blechteilen muss man sehr vorsichtig und mit viel Abstand strahlen, sonst verzieht sich alles. 😢 Ich verwende bei undichten Tanks eine Lackversiegelung für Motorräder Tanks. Das klappt wunderbar und kriecht in alle Ritzen. Die Restaurierung ist sehr gut gemacht worden. Weiter so! 👍

Lembrei do meu saudoso PAI Lampião a querosene De Vez em quando Ele desmontava E fazia manutenção E colocava pra iluminar... a Cozinha Todas as noites Tinha 2 desse mesmo modelo.

Great job and have not seen this style of lantern before. Not sure how the glass would last as it's not Pyrex/Heat Resistant but perhaps a long time!

That lantern is remarkable but some how its swaped by the flourecent and LED light later but the used of that kerosene lantern now is in agriculture to attract the insects at night and roasted the fly and all insect pest in the mangoes rice sorgium field and sunflower farm

Hello! Sandblasting with aluminum oxide, simple cleaning with gasoline, solvent and acetone! I also used a pu primer to give the paint a little finish and pu paint. This lantern works with kerosene and alcohol preheating! Hope this helps! Thanks for the comment! 😁🤝

Стекло должно быть специальной закалки. Банка не подойдёт для длительной эксплуатации.

Можно сетку мелкую крутить в цилиндр. Через неё нормально светит и не разобьётся.

I was tense the whole time, flammable liquids, cutting a glass jar with no gloves on. Well done. I'd have probably ended up in hospital attempting this.
