Diesel engines, also known as combustion engines or CI engines, are named after Rudolf Diesel. The diesel engine is an internal combustion engine, in which fuel ignition is caused by the high temperature of the air in the cylinder due to mechanical compression. And that's the rice mill engine that I'm restoration

These old single barrel diesel engines look like the old fairbank engines which you would find in North America around earlier 19th century. Everyone has there own way of restoring things thanks for taking the time and showing us how you guys restore these engines.

Nice job! I’ve done engine tear downs and reassemble and always use assembly lube. Didn’t see the internal parts lubricated before assembly. I always considered that a standard practice to protect the parts until normal self lubrication is established.
