Very good video, only one observation: You forgot to replace the grommet on the power cable, it prevents water going into cable conection. Yes, I was paying attention to ALL the video :)

Primeramente debo decirte que su posicion normal de funcionamiento es en horizontal y siempre estara con agua en su interior....dado que si no estuviese se descebaria y trabajaria en vacio..........la carcasa es de fundicion y la turbina es de bronce , tales materiales con el proposito de trabajar bajo dicho liquido. Suele ocurrir que cuando no funciona en mucho tiempo se forme mas sedimento en su interior (oxido ) pero si funciona con normalidad el agua esta constantemente circulando por su interior no favoreciendo la creacion del mismo.

There could be nothing wrong with it visually. But what he did was "preventive maintenance". Such as replacing bearings and seals before it fails. :)

Hermano el capacitador de mantenimiento o permanente tiene como objetivo mantener un amperaje nominal y un buen RENDIMIENTO... Si su bomba recalienta debes verificar si es por causa mecánica o problemas en los devanados...mosca un VOLTAJE dentro de los parámetros sería lo ideal...un buen funcionamiento en el sistema de ventilación también...normalmente los capacitadores de bomba de media son se 16uf . Puedes observar en la placa ya que algunos modelos indica el numero del capacitador ...podría ser de 16uf 20uf 25uf....te recomiendo instalar el adecuado ya que si no colocas el adecua puedes tener problemas en RENDIMIENTO y consumo de corriente . Algunas bombas por diseño tienen térmico protector y se puede activar....bueno aquí te apuntó un poco puedes intentar ...espero que tengas suerte..

Verifica el estado actual de los DEVANADOS o bobina ...INSPECCIÓN visual podria estar recalentada y es el motivo del recalentamiento...el mismo se origina por el alto amperaje...saludos cordiales Toni bracamonte

Shouldn't the impeller be fixed by lock nut? This could be the cause of noise. I personally do not hear the difference before and after. It is possible that after even more noisy.
