Restore Your Computer With Reset This PC
If you're having problems with your computer like, Malware, Corrupt Registry, Corrupt Windows files, BSOD, or you just want to do a fresh install. Maybe you have tried the refresh feature or system restore and nothing is working. Well Reset this PC is easy to do and should solve a lot of these computer problems.
'Reset this PC' has a option that allows you to keep all your data files and settings if you won't want to do a clean install of Windows.
In this video I will show you a number of ways to completely wipe the system and install Windows 10. Remember to backup all your data before starting Reset This PC. Even if you use the clean my drive option and have no intention of keeping any data. Because you never know if you wanted any of that data at a later date. You ca keep it for 30 days and then delete it if you don't need it.
remember the method I use in this video will delete all your personal files and settings.
All programs that you've installed will be removed, so make sure you have all the licence keys to hand when you reinstall them.
So if your computer was infected by a virus or malware, this option is great to put your PC back like new.

Would the remover everythign and wipe driver option be the same process but longer? Would that be the only difference? I would like to do that, although im keeping the PC. Does it change the way in which it is done or is it the same but takes more time? Thanks.

so when i press reset my pc and keep my files will i go back to windows 7 or? because i reall want to save my files and downgrade it

Unbeknownst to me my windows 10 Pro (updated from windows 7 Pro from Microsoft Free upgrade) stopped upgrating in Oct 2015. It got to build 1511 and will not go beyound that. When it attempts to Update windows 10, it gets everything in memory and begins the download. When it starts to set it up, I get a message incurred an error reseting to previous version. So what do to update to the most recent version of Windows 10 Pro. I need to do to keep all my files AND APPLICATIONS, so I do not have to re-install programs again. There must be some program that does it.

Sorry, but if you click on "Remove Apps and Settings, but keep your files," .. it will NOT allow you to keep your Apps and Settings as stated in the video. It will only keep your Media and Document files (your Libraries) and nothing else. All your Apps will need to be reinstalled. Something important to keep in mind if you choose that Reset This PC - Windows option. Now there IS a real way you CAN reset the Windows PC while keeping all the installed programs already on it. That would be to simply let Windows RE-INSTALL over itself on the same hard-drive, using the same source media that was used for the first installation. All the Windows System files will be new and refreshed (of course you'll still want to Update all the OS files after it is through re-installing), but you WON'T lose your Applications and Personal Settings. Naturally, this will cause Windows to create a Windows.old directory on the same drive partition, but that can pretty much be ignored. The risk here is that it *could* be one of the Applications which caused the PC to misbehave in the first place, so that is a .. ahem... Judgment call. ;)
