What a beautiful car, what an amazing OLDSMOBILE 1960. No cars like these cars today. After all, the "modern" design of Subaru, Toyota, even Mercedes and BMW, still the old cars, Oldsmobile 1960, Cadillac, Chevrolet were the most beautiful cars ever. The days that will never come back...

Fun fact: some tin toy companies used beer cans to manufacture their toys. When looking underneath, or when disassembling, you could see the labels.

Not used, but already printed for a beer or drink company but never delivered tin folios also being used. the reason is that kind of tin folios way cheaper than unprinted ones.

I just got into restoring tin toys, and one thing I found is to heat the tabs with a butane torch until cherry red, let cool and you will be able to bend them over at least twice more without breaking them. I make sure to get the "root" of the bend red and do this annealing usually after taking the car apart so the tabs are already straight (hammered against a dolly if necessary)
