This has kept me going throughout this crazy pandemic period ...they both compliment each other so beautifully....love every single nook....the VO artist is also fantastic.... Love the new series with them showing other couples how to clean up their own chateau....brilliant series❤️❤️📿📿🎚️🎚️🎧🎧

I watched this program with my grandma while she was on her deathbed, helps with greif to revisit it again. Can we also appreciate how even though they are cheap sometimes (to not break their budget, no shade at all) they never skimp out on paying the people that work for them a fair amount of money.

That gardening programme came to a place I worked at. The so called stars of the show done 10 Minutes work with the cameras rolling then stopped.Then 50 people came and done five hours staight. To say I was amazed is a understatement but did open my eyes to whats what.

Extraordinaire ces Anglais, j'aime ce couple qui ne recule devant rien pour rénover ce château, Angèle est adorable et Dick se met en quatre pour sa douce Angèle. Quel travail de Titan ils ont accompli tous les deux, avec leurs deux adorables chérubins. Je suis ces reportages sur chéri FM avec beaucoup d'intérêt. A quand la pendaison de crémaillère ? !!!!! According to their website, it's now on DVD (7 discs, expensive but worth it). It's also on Peacock TV (much less) (as as are the Chateau DIY series).

Why not get the woke executives at Channel 4 to buy you one Alan? -Richard and Angela- (sorry), _"Dick"_ and _"Angel"_ seem happy with that arrangement! With respect Alan, you seem incredibly naive. I don't know if that naivety is in relation to this programme specifically, or about how TV programmes are made in general? You seem to think for example, that Mr and Mrs Strawbridge actually carry out work on the Chateau with their own bare hands? And that they bought the place with their own money? Are you genuinely not aware that Channel 4 (currently) employ 49 people to get this show made? And I don't just mean lighting and sound crews, camera operatives, producers, directors, runners, gaffers etc. For example, Channel 4 additionally employs anywhere between 18 and 22 locals to do all the real, i.e. the physical work; carpenters, stonemasons, electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, painters and decorators, ground staff, security staff, and so on. The Strawbridges are simply the presenters of the show, the Nick Knowleses of the programme. It's incredibly cheap TV to make Alan. Particularly when you factor in that Channel 4 charges tourists around £120 for a tour of the property, and charge upwards of an incredible £35,000 for couples to use the chateau as their wedding venue. Not bad for a chateau Channel 4 originally bought for the grand sum of £287,000. Television's a very lucrative business Alan. I know... I've worked in it for decades!

Hi ,I have watched how you transformed a stable into Dick's workplace love it and then you found that treasure in the attic, made me jealous because I love old stuff and what you have made from it wonderful. I have just watched how you made a swimming pool absolutely love it and would love to visit you and help to find more old treasures. Speaking of Chateaus, there was a drama / suspense / horror type film I once saw, regarding a Chateau. Cannot for the life of me remember the name of it. All I remember is it involved a Chateau with circular lawn and gravel outside, I think? With fountain, might have been in middle of lawn? A large wall surrounded the Chateau with a gap for vehicular access and a lane just outside the wall. Across from the lane and Chateau, there was a huge Maze with high solid hedges. Something very dangerous and sinister lurked in the Maze. Only coming out at nightfall. The residents dog used to always be barking while looking at the Maze, from the forecourt area just outside the front doors. In the end the resident (s) had to run up to the attic room and lock themselves in to try to remain safe. For me, it was a real nail biter of a film. I have searched websites for months to try to locate the film but no joy so far. If anyone knows about it or has it or has watched it I would be grateful for a heads up as to what it was called please?

I really appreciate their style and hard work. I loved the diamond wallpaper creation, however I was so disappointed when she used it again, and then again in other parts of the chateau.

It looked fine with tiny gaps between the wallpaper. Should not had bother with the trim. Or taped it off and painted a gold line between the diamonds. Now I need to go find out with why ppl are hating her. 😃.

Appalled to hear she has cheated a very talented gentleman out of his creative rights. I loved this programme and enjoyed watching how the family were doing. I feel we have been sold a lie by a ruthless thief. I appreciate there are two sides to every story. So come on Angel and Dick, have the courage a decency to tell it like it is and show the evidence

It was not enough for ''ANGEL'' to take credit for someone else work, she manipulated Michael to sign rights to his design, then she stole his money by doing it, on top she cancel his part of the program....evil....

Hey there. I've been trying to find an actual article about this - given the popularity of the show, you'd expect this to be covered in the news somewhere. But I've only been able to find KZfaq comments and forum posts, with no references to anything as a primary source. Do you have somewhere I might be able to find out more, preferably from the artist himself, and even more preferably, from a reputable news source?

Bife learning longer making skill learnt earthly. And its all cleared about this earth it was decorated an 1 hour to take that long and then she takes a hammer. This is fine. By solo colo. And a picnic was ready to eat everything and the things has all eaten by people made it. And milk this was with sugar it was now 2 hours later. In the time it was decorated lovely and bright sparkly longerys.
