A time lapse montage of the 21 episode series I filmed restoring this tired ex builders T5. The list of work was extensive.
Deep clean, Coilovers, Brakes all round, Wheels & Tyres, Replacement rear doors, Carpet line inside including floor & Cab headliner, Seat Covers, Full Service, Head gasket, Radiator, Fan, Heater Blower, The list really went on and on! I have added a link below to the full 21 episode series.

I couldn't fit all of the mechanical work as the video would have been twice as long!!! I can't wait either! Getting sick of welding😂

Kinda creepy how there are t5s in need for a Restauration... I still remember the time the t5 was premiered and now these are getting old. And so am i. Love your work though! I work on these every day in a dedicated VW commercial vehicles workshop in Germany and I am fascinated by all the things you have done to save this rather regular car!

What suspension was used on this one? I have a T5.1 and fitted 40mm H&R springs on standard shocks and it's still way too high - barely looks lowered. Bilstein coilovers would be my choice if cash wasn't a problem but hoping this is a cheaper alternative as the ride height is exactly what I was after. Subscribed! Thanks. 👍
