It's a very nice table but the worker needs to wear safety breathing mask and safety glasses. Just a thought.

Cool design and done well. I didn’t like the box effect until I saw them as the planters. After that it made sense and I really like them.

For better results after preparing small pieces, release vice fill adhesive between crack and close vice insert the small pieces with adhesive.

You increased the tension in the slap. You only put butterflies on one side, so the slap will forever be crooked. Why not replace the whole crack with similar wood, by mortising it out?! On both sides!

A whole lot of watching him use a sander, skipping the mortising, the inlays, and well everything the least bit complicated. But what are you supposed to do with a table with a big hole in the middle?

I would have built a tub, placed the board in it in very hot water. Let soak a few days. Liberal dose of wood glue with sawdust from the board, glued the heck out of the cracks, then clamped and allowed to dry out and cure.

Что мешает разрезать на ламели и переклеить, убрав сердцевину и все напряжения? Это бы свело последующие деформации на нет, стабилизирована щит. А вот это называется ерундой.
