Married for over 45 years, Ron and Opal Erickson are a host couple for Hope Restored. About 15 years ago, Ron had a serious midlife crisis, going on a downward spiral that led to a relationship with another woman. He and Opal were estranged for about 18 months until he finally submitted his life to God. Their marriage was restored and now have a music ministry.

This comes at a crutial point in my life. Been standing for my marriage for 1 yr and a half always praying for a miracle of restoration but now tired of waiting but this is God's confirmation that He's not done yet and that his promises are true all the time.

I met these folks while I was there. They are two of the most wonderful people! God really did a miracle in their lives. Such a godly example of loving your spouse no matter what.

Thank you for sharing your story, I am standing for my marriage and I am believing God for a miracle. My husband is not a believer but I stand on His word, nothing is impossible for God. Blessings to you both and Focus on the Family.

I'm at this point but it's past the fighting stage...now it's the avoidant, numb stage....thank you for sharing this! These stories at least let me know I'm not alone in this as a Christ believer.

Right now I am going through a similar thing with my wife. Pray for me and my family. I will trust and obey God all the way🙏🏿. These 2 people are so humble in each other the give the sense of oneness. God will continue to bless you two.

What an inspirational story of hope. I am in the midst of my crisis and praying for a miricle for my marriage and my husband. Thank you for sharing your story of hope, healing, redemption, and love. I am going to Spouse Intensive and praying my now prodical husband will have a change of heart and come.
