If you take a Q-Tip (cotton bud) dip it in rubbing alcohol, coat the head with red marker, and then IMMEDIATELY rub the isopropyl on the head, it will have a similar effect. I don't think it lasts as long as Plasti-Dip but it is faster, cheaper, and easier to do.

I find the dip method super easy to do as long as you can with the 24 hours between coats

@@imarmodels oh yeah, it looks pretty easy; just put the head on a stick, lube it up with the tire wet, and dip in the Plasti-Dip. In the States though, every hardware store I go to doesn't have it on the shelves though. So I either need to drive around, make phone calls, or just special order it and wait.... And wait....

I got mine through Amazon. Sadly the hardware stores here look at you like you like you are mad if you ask for Plastidip lol

Hey, did you end up putting the plasti dip peelings into the neck afterward? If so, how was it with the head’s coloring?

Yeah I put the plastidip into the head and so far all the colours are the same and haven't faded yet :)
