Matthias is an experienced manager with business building and business development expertise in pharma and biotech scene. He holds a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry. He worked in the pharmaceutical industry at Grünenthal Pharma in the Drug Safety department and later as Business Transformation Consultant and as Chief of Staff to the CSO, led a major reorganization of the R&D department. Afterwards, he worked as Corporate Finance & Strategy Consultant at Silversky LifeSciences. He has been leading Elastrin Therapeutics as CEO since 2020 and has successfully raised $ 12,5 million Seed funding.
