The retina is the eye’s most sophisticated component. Researchers are developing techniques to recreate retinal tissues - and even entire retinas - in the lab. These complex structures can then be transplanted into patients and could help to restore lost vision in people affected by diseases such as age-related macular degeneration.

Every single presentation ever done on vision cures uses the phrase "one day" or "someday". Hopes dashed once again. Thanks.

Hello friend, the stem cell approach is in clinical trials currently which means that it can be here in 6-8 years depending on the stage that is in and ofcourse if the treatment as a whole is safe and effective, so far so good though, so don't get your hopes dashed.

It seems to me that you are personally involved in this and since you look like a kind and grateful soul, I will try to provide some more information. Unfortunately, I don't have much time these days but you mentioned actual progress, so I fetched 4 articles of different pieces of news over 2018 and 2017 that have scientific citations in them and some mention actual timelines and not fantasies, of when these therapies are expected to be available to patients. It seems to me, some niche genetic diseases like Huntington's disease and Hemophilia and some eye diseases (with AMD first) will be the first ones to be tackled by genetic therapies aka the new way of curing diseases that traditional medicine cannot. 1.www.leafscience.org/clinical-trial-shows-promising-results-for-age-related-macular-degeneration/ 2.futurism.com/an-fda-panel-approved-a-breakthrough-gene-therapy-that-fixes-hereditary-blindness 3.bigthink.com/news/half-of-all-blindness-in-humans-is-due-to-macular-degeneration-will-this-be-a-cure 4.www.sciencealert.com/stem-cell-therapy-reverses-macular-degeneration-british-patients We live in an amazing time my friend. THIS TIME is definitely not the time to get desperate, things are looking good. Take care.

@@massimo6088 That's reality, I guess. Mine is a particularly nasty type. It required several injections and laser treatments and ultimately a surgical stent. Ironically, the greatest damage occurred because of the laser treatment. Laser was necessary to quarterise the mass of accumulated blood vessels. The stent stabilised and reduced the fluid pressure to normal levels again. The injections were the first throw of the dice. My case has been studied internationally. In my case the catalyst was and is a thrombocytopenia, which was NOT being managed with warfarin. Not the cause but in my ever so humble opinion, a major contributing factor.

I was diagnosed with a very rare eye disease called choroideremia. Due to the disease I am now almost completely blind. The only site I have remaining is in my left eye. And what I see is like looking through a straw. Gene therapy is no option for me. I'm told the only hope for me is stem cell therapy.and that trials will not begin to take place within the next 5 to 10 years.I fear by then I will lose all vision that I have remaining. At this point I no longer know where to turn for help and I am beginning to slowly lose hope.

Could this help in retina damage caused by retinal detachment
@user-hu6ft8zw5g
@user-hu6ft8zw5g Жыл бұрын
The treatment shown in the video is for macular degeneration which causes damage to the retinal pigment epithelium. Retinal detachment is the separation of the retinal pigment epithelium from the retinal sensory layer, and the pigment epithelium is connected to the choroid that supplies oxygen and nutrients. Therefore, once the retinal sensory layer and pigment epithelium are separated, the photoreceptor cells in the retinal sensory layer will be damaged. Although it is the same as the stem cell treatment object in the film Not the same, but the current research is using ips cells to differentiate photoreceptor cells (rod and cone cells), which is very helpful for patients with retinal detachment and adverse postoperative conditions. One day, this will become a method of treatment. I am also a patient with retinal detachment surgery and let's work together💪 We will be fine in the future

(I’m Irish American and was golden glove) and now if you want to beat me in a fight, just keep circling to your right and the right hand will connect to my left eye because I have a blind spot on that side.. went to Mayo Clinic for days and after being poked and prodded for days, the doctor stuck out his hand, wished me luck and said there’s nothing they could do about it and I need to take care of my right eye.. lol Wtf??!

itsall based on mononucleotides..and as mono says..one cell is not creation..yet..so it takes 2 equal opposite cells..like feminine and masculine to recreate anything on this globe. we are so used to gmo foods and obecelled grass and non living thongs that we forget we need living food..living cells and living repairs in and on our body too..that means we better focus on getting complete and not onecelled and using obe part of the brain anymore to rejuvenate our own bodiesand emvironment..it comes with natural and universal rules of course and this is what each scientust or specialist or any 'sinner" have been avoiding and even totally ignoring. here the focus is only on what you can geab out the hand and bodies of others to gain more and longer yourself. That's a zeta reticuli attitude and those people left himanity a long time ago..and to our perception became functioning and programmable walking computers... of course our govns and their few 1% and tgeir ponpons have been trying to make living dolls out of us since the 70's and even now we get iron..aluminium..barium..plastic partical is our air..foods and water since the 80's and chips included..so tgat makes us almost massively programmable..check out the specialists who are not dr but it programmers and archtects who designed " remotely updaters for pacemakers" . officially..what do you tjink will happen in 2 to 4 yrs if we have enough plastic nanotissue tgat kills of our real skins and sensors..and the ironparticles and other materials they put chemtrails for years for that purpose, to make little walking walking consenting stay at home puppets..ready to be logged into diverse workingbee-groups now..steered by a few very young billionaires and a few laptops..the cheapest workforce tbey have almost completed making in history...clone type 11 is on its way..looking real..real skin and remakable organs to funxtion..not all organs since they do not feel..so no liver..to name a few .but its already walking amongst us..leading our world here and there..remotely controlled.. and now when it is too late tge public hears how they could make new arm and legs..whole bodies in 20 minutes fully functioning t5 without a strawnan?!! if humanoty and animalsare not daily electroshocked and nurrish with poison and nanochipparticles without their consent..and open up tge sky again so we can breathe normal air again..then we rejuvebate so fast all of us.that the real humans can get a 1000 yrs again before they want to leave..not die here..thats a joke..and why woukd scienceand hovns and elites stop us from having no dome or fences with tripplet bombs to keep shut down..and not let humanity rejuvenate? easy answer: those who want us dead and aslaved are not human..tgats ok..but tgey have no true origine here..they are not able to live in a higher frequency..the natural feminine-masculine being one with higher self system..they would collapse..so we let them ruin our bodies..make our mindssingulary and obesided.and distroy any world..rgey already nuked 4 planets in this universe by monotizing life..and nuje the place down if they cannot thrive there..they need humans to feed upon..and we let them..all this shit which is so called invebred now was here milliobs years also..tge babelonianscruined our whole systwm for sure and yet we still use these proven distructional means to "thrive" over otherone' s demise...i was a dna/ rejuvenation specialist during atlantis..and many lifetimes rejuvenation priesttess..so the natural way..i come from andromeda where we naturally and not through leaving out lifeforce and bring in virusses and funghi to control regrowth..because we all know these thingsare created to only destroy everything..they do not give new life..new tissue..since they are not source connected...these beings got evacuated here in this universe and shut down..with living beings..they can temporary fool us and in 3d a holodeck program us..but they cannot kill us..its an illusion they sold us..eternal beings and sourcegiven beings are creators and learning skills here..but never outside the self..outside the body..machines are all that..nano is mechanicat..lives on electricity..and shocks to be propelled forwards..if you look around you see people start to be like that too..puppets..propelled by vibes..mindprogramming and worse..those lost their soul..and people like me are only here to repair what was split and fractionized..even distroyed..we can truly recreate life..not these fakers..machines are not needed if our mind and heart and body can do 1000x more..that one lityle a.i. you do not need all data if you can FEEL..so use the true intelligent part of your brain..that part cannot and will npt let itself being controlled..its shutsdown in time to wait for it to get reborn again..till the intruderbeingsare gone..machines never have all skills..they can only leaen form what we did in tge past but cannot interpreted what ot means..it simple doesnt have the capacity to be creative..even if foolish onebrainers think they can teach creativity or creation..a incomplete monological copy even if sampled is not a creator being..it is forever stuck in the past..same as administtation..its results from a past..but interpreted by a non creator..a true creator does not need proof or justify itself..since it lives according to live/source and does not need to rejuvenate or correct data or ways..it simply is..omnipresent...a.i. can only rule in a confined space and in algoritmic time..outside this universe we have no a.i.'s anymore they are mid-evil old inventions of egobased non human species...lots of people have been locked up here..who nedded to used this shit to survive..thats over.. humans will have to learn their own natural skills. .not through brainhacking the past..copycatting..being a smartarse..chipped bully...nope..true skills can only be developped by true humans..some animal and mineral kingdoms..some species will come along with those who can expand their being..their wisdom..but it will only be picked up if you can connect to higher frequencies..that's why humanity and even reptoidraces are kept low thinkers and doers...so those few can still hide in an human body...in these super toxic environments on earth..and sone other planets...well just feel and think and know when it is a miscreation.....
