Retirees who have difficulty covering their basic needs are often those who couldn't save enough money during their working years. Retirement decisions greatly impact outcomes. Although my parents both spent the same number of years in civil service, my mom invested through a wealth manager, while my dad used a 401(k).

We sent John Deere a Dear John letter the moment they prevented Farmers from repairing our own equipment. I will never buy another one of their products.
