I remember playing this game as a kid in the 90s! Such a classic game. As frustrating and difficult this game was, I did manage to 101% it. But the 2nd game, Diddy's Kong Quest, will always be my all time favorite of this series!

DKC2 and its soundtrack are GOATed, no question. That said, playing the original DKC back in 1994 was jaw-dropping. It was one of those unforgettable gaming experiences that made me feel blown away by the possibilities. The era from late 2D until 3D finally found its footing (I'd say from about '94 to '98) was one heck of a period for gaming in that regard.
