@lyrand6408 I have a pretty big collection of n64 and snes games. I had a cupboard where I put the boxes. I would take out the game, and carefully place the box in brand new condition into that cupboard. They were there for years, I went through college, grad school, I would glance in when I visited home. I bought my first house, had room for them, went home and my step dad had "cleaned out" his office by piling all his stuff in my old room. Boxes were gone, Mom swore nothing got thrown away, but we've never found them. Still have all the games, but that would really drive up the value of the games, as even the common ones are worth a decent amount cib. It's too bad, but I get it, as a parent you're only going to hold on ṭo empty boxes for so long, haha.

I remember when I first saw one of those SNES gaming kiosks back in 4th grade at a Walmart and was absolutely blown away both seeing and playing the new Super Mario World in person. But I’m not sure who was more stoked; my Dad or myself. Definitely a memory up there with the occasional family visit to Toys R Us’ video game department. I still vividly remember those orange & white little slips of paper that redeemed your actual, physical copy of a game at the checkout. And I clearly remember the night we went to pick up Zelda II. As my Dad wanted it even more than me. So we got it before Christmas that year. And I still love that game.

As someone who collects in multiple markets including comic books the best advice i could give is dont deal in comics unless you understand exactly what you are selling and be prepared to spend a lot of time keeping track of a market that fluctuates constantly. You can short change youself easily or have prices that comic collectors seem high which means less people buying product. If you are out of touch with your prices you could be stuck with lots of comic inventory that won't sell.

4:52 Wow, I did not expect a copy of Traces of death 3 to pop up in a retro store. For those who don't know, its probably something you should never see since its a early to mid 90s compilation of horrific events which oftern includes real life deaths. But just seeing a copy in the wild is so rare. There are many kinds of videos like that in the world and they're so collectable that people are willing to put out hundreds of dollars to get a small collection.

The comics being sealed doesn’t matter if you get them graded, they have to open them and inspect the pages etc. The comics themselves can still be damaged or contain errors from production and several other things while being in the packaging. Same rules apply for tcg cards.

That VHS Traces of Death 3 (with the Pokémon cards) is to incredibly brutal. That was produced by Dead Alive Productions same company that did Faces of Death. The 2 big differences is it has a killer soundtrack from the (at that time) Death Metal label Nuclear Blast Records and what made it better than Faces of Death was seeing the act of other than just the aftermath. It is all real and not for the sensitive or easly offended. Its 100% real Death Snuff flick with classic Death Metal from 1995. I used to love that stuff but still love the music.
