Hi Aviral, Thanks for the great video! I have seen on some other sources that instead of splitting the Analog and Digital return path, one should have one uniform return plane where analog section should be as far as possible from digital section and isolation can be provided using via fencing, proper IC layout and LC filtering. So which method is better?

You can compare all these using simulations on Allegro Sigrity. How does the return current flow if the reference plane under the signal is a power plane not gnd plane?

I ll cover this in next video, it flows through coupling b/w power plane and gnd planes

Return path of current which shown in the video, there is no actual capacitor present, it is the parasitic capacitance and if the power plane is continuous underneath the transmission line then impedance discontinuity will not happen and signal will travel without loss.
