Conor McGregor, born on July 14, 1988, in Dublin, Ireland, is an Irish mixed martial artist who left an indelible mark on the sport. Rising to fame in Cage Warriors, he joined the UFC in 2013 and quickly became a two-division champion. McGregor made history in 2015 with a 13-second knockout of José Aldo for the featherweight title, and in 2016, he became the first fighter to hold titles in two weight classes simultaneously.
Known for his brash persona, McGregor's charisma and promotional skills turned him into a global superstar. Despite announcing retirements, he made comebacks, In 2020, McGregor returned to the UFC, defeating Donald Cerrone in just 40 seconds. Now he seeks his eyes on once another return to the octagon in 2024 after suffering a gruesome leg injury at UFC 264 which left the UFC universe in doubt of redemption.
McGregor now has his eyes on Michael Chandler for June 29th at 185lbs. The greatest return in combat sports history.

He didn't pop up on my radar until the Nate Diaz fight. I was confused. How did McGregor, who was considered one of the UFCs best strikers get molly whoped by a guy that took the fight on 11 days notice? I mean, Nate Diaz came off the couch and took Conor to school.

True, only because Conor underestimated Nate Diaz..I mean Nate's been around for awhile and has fought some of the best the sport has to offer and he wasn't buying what Conor was selling 😆... Conor was mind fucking everybody he fought and they had lost before the fight even started..not to mention he had to go up 2 weight classes..Nate absorbed punches and was able to gas him out

Nate Diaz is punching bag who have very good condition low on skill, its hard to kill those type guys.. and Conor have shit condition but more skills and entertainment.. if not him those fighters still get food coupons for the winnings.

I just hope we get a couple more fights out of him before he retires, regardless we know he will fight at least one more time.. don’t take it for granted guys, you’ll miss him when he’s gone! 💯

Superstar sums him up quite well. Not the best but he was good enough for the competition at the time he was coming up. Now he'll never ever be able to hang with the killers who want the lifestyle he already has. He never once defended a belt and hasnt won a fight since cowboy. He created a huge buzz and hell always be the guy who made the UFC a household name.

You know, if McGregor actually retired after the Mayweather fight his legacy would be right up there with the best. We would still be discussing on whether he would have beaten Khabib. Poirier would not even be given a chance against McGregor, certainly not beating him up twice in a row. The respect and admiration would have followed him for the rest of his life. Instead, he's now not even considered a threat by anyone in the UFC. People look at him now and consider him to be a bit of a joke. He got absolutely battered twice by someone he sparked in the first round in his heyday. His calm, witty humour seems to have been replaced by a frantic, nervous and twitchy demenour. He doesn't even look the same. I was, and still am, a massive McGregor fan but I just can't help thinking 'what if'.

His fight with Chad Mendes shows that when he was is in prime he was able to wrestle and defend himself because Chad Mendes was a hell of wrestler . Just imagine if khabib had fought Conor in his prime may be the outcome of the fight would have been different . Guess we will never know . But still one fight does not define Conor and his legacy he is one of goats of all time . Wether some people accept it or not this fact can't be changed

Maybee with a cool cut, with a synchro between punches and music or something like this, a good narration, ad some reative effects and it could be (more) entertainning.
