You're just about there. This is a Cypher. Cypher = Rap Battle. In this case, they took this Mortal Kombat style. Picture showing up at a rap battle like you saw in 8 Mile, and someone shows up with the way-too-often sampled beat from Jay-Z, which was a sample of a sample of Grandmaster Flash, and then you step up with this, drop it out to a capella, then knock 'em out with the track. This is straight fire.
