Bro how the hell did it take you 20 hours to beat the first boss… I’m his type of game isn’t even my style and it only took me about 3 to clear the first biome and get the hang of the game

@@michaelcallahan6591i finished the game in 20hr but at the same time i think it has a lot do with luck. I don’t think these players are just “bad” i think they are unlucky with drops and what not.

People are hating but I LOVEE this game. The combat is so fast and enjoyable. The boss fights are insane (2, and 4 are my favorite) I haven’t played much of matterfall but housemarque always delivers fun games but they leveled up on this title.

@@epyon7773 It took me ages to get those bas-stad keys. One of my lowest points while playing the game was getting two of them and dying when I had one last enemy to kill to get the third and getting killed - I only had to hit them a couple more times {:o|

@@Dreamskaype it was hard for me because I tried to jump straight to it every time. Apparently you’re supposed to do a near full echoing ruins run before you do biome 5 and 6. And once I did that I blew through the game pretty fast.

@@epyon7773 Good on ya. After days of gameplay, I finally finished the game last night. I didn't think I would. I was in the last Biome just exploring until I realised I could meet the boss. When I did, I was surprised by how easy it seemed to be. I'd say it was the easiest one.

There's an NG+? Or do you just mean after you beat the final boss and replay to get the sundial pieces?

@@afrazhaque u need a more powerful weapon. hollowseeker with waves or portal traits melts them

If you’re really having trouble. Do a half run through the jungle before you teleport. Gain efficiency, health and money buy a thing or two and then teleport to your biome. I had to do that for the mountain. Had a good run and that one fortified run got me all the way to biome 5.artifacts and weapons can make or break for me. I usually try to buy the Astronaut, a health consumable and the integrity 25% or regen. Also if you come across the parasite that gives you critical regen at the cost of damage from long falls get it. It saved my ass in the boss for that area. (Tip just dash before you hit ground and there’s no long fall damage) 😃😉 good luck

@@epyon7773 thanks for the tips. i have adapt my playstyle now using more melee. there is for melee this upgrade that will shoot two lasers to nearest enemies every hit wich is very powerfull. Also i have the running on and trying to be agressive and on the move all the time. got to the nemesis third phase, i will beat this game.

@@tomisalonen8029 you will you’re getting there man little over half way. I didn’t know that about the melee artifact I never seen that I’ll try it. The ice ruins or whatever usually have a lot of melee upgrades. Games not easy, love it though

@@moody9847 no actually I tried to do a couple runs last night I’m on 5th biome getting the three keys. I got two last night and got murdered by the aliens in the third room.. I had a ton of health too overal really good run. Was frustrating but this the first time I’ve been “stuck” this part has been difficult but I’ll get it. Then it’s just the water biome left

Only if combined with a shield, or the artifact that allows you to take an additional hit before losing Adrenaline levels. Otherwise, one hit means zero adrenaline = no leech. hurts during boss fights.

dude I beasted through the drones with the rotlobber but maybe I should of switched to the pistol for the boss because I've lost to him twice and it's been so long between those runs

Bro, and the dashing. He even dashed through purple which you’re not supposed to. I’ll dash and get killed by the red lasers.

I went deathless fresh start. 1st completion was 3.5hrs, my 2nd which was last night was 2hrs 53 mins. Aiming to get it down to 2 hrs. No revives via equipment or items. Great vid, very motivational. You should try a true deathless speedrun

@@AJBRUN Thanks for the tip man I was able to do it today in 1hr 9 minutes I'll probably post it tomorrow. Your video helped me a lot especially the 3rd boss because I usually use the Hollowslayer and that gun is absolute garbage against him

Tbh there is a lot of small changes you could make like on the giant guy who’s supposed to kill you just run into his face and don’t shoot him also don’t scan the cursed key as it isn’t needed

It is, actually. This game is pretty damn hard, and punishes you like the game wants you to die of rage. I spent 2 hours on a run and my game crashed sending me right back to the beginning :)

this. its a lot of deciding trades offs and what fits your playstyle and ultimately you soon realise its just as much about having the nerve and skill to dodge attack patterns etc i dont bother to grind myself...

Some of the grinding can't be skipped. Like weapon upgrade progression and loot. If your skill is ovet the roof like this dude's is you can skip that, if not you gotta hustle!

Melee a ton in the first biome. Eating time with bullets from a pistol slows down the pace for what could be a bad run anyways. Faster first biomes = more opportunities for better runs

Same. Only tried a couple times tho. Am very happy to see how fast he finished all I have left is the water part after. No boss for 5 was surprising

that one is annoying but biome 5 is the hardest in my opinion

@@reddevilkev well yeah I am experiencing it first hand. It's incredibly crazy.

Keep practicing. I started like that. Now I can do a full run through the game. The accomplishment of learning the game mechanics is super satisfying. After some practice, what is a truly challenging game can feel easy.

But is not hard
