When a vlogger shows us position and stack size he's helping to educate us. When they don't they're just telling us how their day went. I have a girlfriend for that. I'll stick to people like you. Thanks Todd

Your situation with the "All in" misunderstood by the dealer is prime example of why I let my chips do the talking. I slide my whole stack in when I go all in. If my stack is too large for that, I face the dealer, make eye contact and say "I'M all in". Adding the "I'm" adds an extra sylabol and helps it not be misunderstood for "call"

Great editing and analysis! For hand 7, the KQo hand when you were in the LJ and got raised by the SB, why was that an easy fold? I would have struggled with that hand
@toddswardenski
@toddswardenski Жыл бұрын
It really just comes down to player pool tenancies and their likely 3-betting range. I've found in low stakes games, most people are only 3-betting JJ+ and AQ+. Against that range, KQo is pretty heavily dominated so I prefer suited hands for the flush potential. Hope that helps!

Does the Wynn play high hand. Pocket kings with a K on the flop, is it worth staying to see if you can get quads?

Hand 9 with KKs maybe a big bet on the flop? Obviously they all snap folded but you're only targeting an A or diamond draw so might as well go for the max right?
@toddswardenski
@toddswardenski Жыл бұрын
For sure a thing in theory with 2 high cards and a disconnected low card on the flop, but I still like betting smaller when this multi-way. All of their ranges are pretty weak after the string of limps, so going big after that kind of preflop action seems crazy strong OOP into 4 people and I’m not sure it’d get many calls.

Kind of depends on the evening and the table, but it's a pretty soft game and easy to beat.

Hand 16 I would consider bluffing on the turn. A pair of queens is behind his value range and having a queen means you block his two pair combos.
@toddswardenski
@toddswardenski Жыл бұрын
That’s fair and blocking the straight is great too. I just think it’s more viable in a tougher game, and I’m less inclined to believe they bet big as bluffs and/or fold the portions of their range that should realize it can’t withstand aggression when raising.
@vodun132

Totally table dependent but I was thinking the same that I would check raise that turn most of the time

Before the straight appeared on the board the 66 paird with a 6 on the board which beats the pair of 4s. However because a straight ended up rivering the pot was chopped and shared

Lets play how many strategic errors this player makes. 10:00 I'll start with a non continuation bet on an ace high flop. Too weak to bet, too strong to fold is not a thing.

Multiway pot on an ace high board. You lose to any ace. Raising only gets called by what’s beating you so why not let them take the lead? I don’t see what’s wrong here

Hold on. Big blind acts out of turn trying to raise. His aggressive action should stop. He should NOT be allowed to raise. Only call.
