I like the AJ call. Tough spot but multiple combo draws can jam there as a bluff w equity to hit the river if called. You unblock hands like QJhearts, which is a hand that makes this play.

the 10 4 hand, was a clear value bet once he checks. You block a lot of two pair comboes with the 10 blocker and no way he is checking KJ on the river... given the player type. If he check raises river then you can evaluate

Lol yeah I was going to point that out. He must have messed up with his notation, and wrote down the wrong hand.. unless the all in mucked and only verbalized after the hand was over that he had 99’s because didn’t realize the straight was out there? If the all in flipped and showed his 99’s there on that board, the dealer and rest of the players are obligated to point out that he has the winner even if he was not aware of it. Not sure that one did not make a ton of sense

I don't dislike the AJ call there as well. A lot of floats improve to combo draws with bdoor hearts and that card is so much better for your perceived range. Obv the guy just mad his bluff didn't work and just tought you should have folded because that's what he would have done in your shoes.

From experience: DON'T ask to see their cards when they're mucking. Had he had some junk hand better than yours, he wins. If you just have to see, have the dealer kill his hand first (touches them to the muck pile) and then turn them over. Good, aggressive, play. Hope the rungood holds.

In your AJ vs. 99 hand you say that you "scoop a pretty nice pot", but the runout in the video shows that a nine made a straight which would beat your third pair. Was this video from some other session or did you misremember the outcome of the hand?

How much is he suppose to tip when he loses a big pot to a bad run out? What if he wins a big pot and the dealer is bad? Your argument is based off assumptions and no thought. Do you have any idea what a pro player would pay in tips over a year if they tipped they way you suggest? Pretty unthoughtful comment bud.

To a novice poker player(like the guy that commented negatively on ur play) the AJo hero call might seem like a terrible call but if you analyze the situation and have been on the table with the opponent for a while your call is the only option n if you happen to have totally gotten a bad read then you still left yourself at worst a gut shot, possibly a gut shot n an over to the board if he shows top pair, and at best you read the guys soul n are ahead. Which you were. I feel like he was just on mega tilt from being soul read more than likely at his home card room in front of his buddies n the you tube world cuz soul reads always make the vlog. Great job analyzing the hand and having the stones to make the hero call. Keep up the hard work n one day you will be making calls like this amongst the elite of the poker world.👍👍🫡
