So this comment is 8 months later and we are now in quarantine. I thank you for this video because I have had to retwist my own hair and you just showed me how to minimize frizz. @@jusDenyse i forgot to ask....what does the two stranding the loc meant to do when you are doing a retwist? The part where you was attempting, but decided to take it down and do it when the locs get longer...

You did an awesome job and omg your baby is so beautiful and she loves her hair ❤️. I think I may try this gel you are using. I usually use Murray’s lock gel or Mango loc gel. The one methods I used as well with my son to prevent frizzing is Palm Roll from top to bottom with each pic and he would sit under the dryer.Air drying took to long it help to prevent a lot of frizzing!!!TFS 🥰

Is the bunching not caused by the combing? Some believe that this causes weak points along with product build up that is bunched into the combed hairs. Also that product facilitates a “ neat look” but slows the locking really, and compromises their strength because it can’t be washed out. I do respect your saving hundreds and sharing your methods. Look forward to seeing the journey.

She’s clearly not in any pain. Anyway, her hair looks great, my son decided to start his loc journey from his 2 strand twist, so I’m working different methods for what’s best for his curl pattern.

Because her texture is different from mines I have to use a different product soooooo I just might go with QP...... Did u notice any build up

When you do the two strand twists, do right over left instead of left over right.

I cannot wait to do this on my daughter’s hair. What styles did you do when her locs was shorter? I want to help my baby get through the rough phase. Also too I noticed a bump on your wrist. Is it fluid build up? Did you ever get it drained? My cousin had the same thing years ago.

I am starting locs with mini-twist, going on 2 weeks, what is the better method retwist or interlock? my hair has shrunk in length due to the shower, is that ok as far as bunching or should it be stretched, my hair has super shrinkage I am ok with it, i am curious about the look of the twist over time when it locks when I heard you mention bunching? You daughter is gorgeous!
